"Insulting Our Prophet"

Every time a Muslim proclaims that Jesus is not the Son of God, or denies His crucifixion, death and resurrection they are not only guilty of "insulting our prophet", but of outright blasphemy.

Christians, rather than feeling the need to make the accusation, instead pray for Muslims to see the truth, because scripture makes God's judgment abundantly clear.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

In non-Muslim countries, and in internet discussions, the "insulting my prophet" line is almost universally - and quite transparently - invoked, when a Muslim feels the need to run away from the truth about Mohammed that someone is presenting to them, as revealed by the Muslim's own books. This empty claim of insulting their prophet generally comes on the heels of their having engaged in long tirades of blasphemy against Jesus Christ and the prophets and apostles as revealed in the Word of God.

Since they can't trust in their "Allah" to pass judgment on those that candidly speak of Mohammed they feel the need to pass judgment themselves. Indeed in Muslim countries judgment and sentence are passed, even when a Muslim asks the wrong question, that can result in torture and/or death. An excellent read on this subject is "Islam and Terrorism" by Mark A. Gabriel.

If someone draws a cartoon of Jesus, Christians simply pray for the person, and that they are delivered and have an opportunity to repent before their time is too late. And Muslims? Burn the cars of hundreds of innocent people that had absolutely nothing to do with the cartoons. Why can't they trust in "Allah" as judge and jury? Because their goal is ending free speech and imposing dhimmitude, because the one thing Islam has never been able to stand is the light of truth. That's why bibles and Christian materials are banned in Muslim countries. Why Muslims that come to the love of the one true God through Jesus Christ are killed as Islamic "apostates".

So for the purposes of this forum can we set aside accusations of "insulting our prophet" - since this is always a two way street - and instead leave that judgment in the hands of God?
