This from a site aptly titled: "The Key to Understanding Islam".
It should at least help us understand what Islam is composed of.
http://www.thekeytoislam.com/en/what-do-you-know-about-zamzam-well.aspx

"Abraham took Hagar and her son, Ishmael to a place near the Kabah; he left them under a tree at the site of Zamzam. No one lived in Makkah back then, yet Abraham made them sit there, leaving them with some dates, and a small water-skin. Thereafter he set out towards home."

So Abraham was supposed to have abandoned his wife Sarah and son Isaac in Hebron (The seed of Isaac is who God made his covenant with).
Then he wandered with Sarah's bondwoman Hagar and her (infant according to Islam) son Ishmael across 1200 KM of harsh barren, unexplored, untraveled desert, over a thousand years before the actual historical record informs us a caravan route was established along the Red Sea.
Then Abraham supposedly abandoned Hagar and Ishmael in a place with no other people, and no food except some dates, and no water except that in a small water-skin he gave them - in other words he left them with no apparent chance for survival - and then Abraham set out to wander the 1200 kilometers back home!

Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?
Here's a picture of the Syrian desert in northern Arabia:

Here's the account from the actual historical record found in scripture:

Gen 21:9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. 10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, [even] with Isaac. 11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son. 12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Genesis 21:14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

Now Abraham's home was in Hebron, where Muslims continue to visit, and also desecrate, his grave unto this day.

Consider the location of Beersheba on the map, and then consider the location of Mecca - for which there is not a shred of historical or archaeological evidence that suggests that Mecca ever existed until the 4th century AD (which was a couple thousand years after Abraham roamed the earth).

The good Lord gave us all brains to think with. Let's try using them.

The fact of the matter is that the scriptural, historical, archaeological and geographical records assure us that neither Abraham, Hagar, nor Ishmael were ever within 1,000 kilometers, of where Mecca was eventually settled in the 4th century AD.

So the "The Key to Understanding Islam" and Islamic so-called "tradition" - that was all created and put to the pen in the 7th to 10th centuries AD, without reference to any actual historical record that preceded the 5th century AD, yet masquerades as thousands of years of pre-Muhammad history - is to understand that it is nothing more than a pile of pure poppycock.

But it's far worse than that. THE false prophet Muhammad's ANTI-religion fills his followers with complete resolve as to what to DISbelieve. To DISbelieve the WHOLE SUBJECT of the Gospel, and REJECT the shed blood of the Lamb of God, and DENY and blaspheme the Son of God, AS ARTICLES OF FAITH in THE false prophet Muhammad alone.
