Putin Vows To Defend Christianity From NWO Genocide: World Leaders Should Unite To End Anti-Christian Persecution!

Once the enemy of Christianity when Russia was Rothschild’s USSR, Russia has now removed Rothschild in 2006 and has now positioned itself as the hope of persecuted Christians.

The representative of the Russian Orthodox Church has told Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin this week of the urgent situation Christians are facing around the world in persecution hot spots, and has asked him to use his power to aid their situations.RT online reported that Metropolitan Hilarion, foreign relation chief of the Russian Orthodox Church presented evidence and statistics that stated, “Every five minutes one Christian is dying for his or her faith in some part of the world.”

Putin
Christians face persecution in many nations; from church demolition in Afghanistan and bombings of churches in Iraq, to the violence against Christians taking place in rebellious towns in Syria.

After delivering the facts, Metropolitan Hilarion asked Putin to make protection and defense of Christianity around the globe a major part of his foreign policy.

And, as reported by Interfax, Putin replied, “You needn’t have any doubt that that’s the way it will be,” assuring Hilarion that Russian foreign policy would defend Christians from persecution abroad.

Putin’s recent actions seem to confirm his promise. Last week, Putin vetoed a U.N. motion calling for Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad to step down. Syrian Christians received this as good news. Assad is of the Alawite sect of Islam. Alawites and Christians are both religious minorities in Syria.

Syrian Christians feel that sharing this minority status means Assad will provide them with protection.

A Syrian Christian woman even told The Global Post, “Thank God for Russia. Without Russia we are doomed.”

Putin has long been a supporter of Christianity and Christian values within Russia. He has called for the Church to play a larger role in citizens’ social lives, better religion classes in schools, and television programs emphasizing religious values.

Putin has spoken openly of his faith, noting that most of Europe is rooted in Christianity, and that a denial of this is embarking on a path of “renouncing” their roots. Putin believes that Russia is the new leader in supporting Christian values and morals. Read More at Liberty Voice

Scarcely a day goes by now where we do not read of yet another in a constellation of initiatives being undertaken by both the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian government on behalf of persecuted Christians and other victims in Syria, Egypt, and elsewhere in the world.

For instance, on July 31 it was announced that a charitable drive launched at the end of June by Patriarch Kyrill of Moscow and All Russia had raised US$1.3 Million to assist victims of the Syrian armed conflict. That these funds will be distributed through the auspices of both Orthodox Christian Patriarch John X of Antioch as well as Supreme Mufti Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun of Syria, shows the Moscow Patriarchate’s application of the Christian principle of caring for one’s neighbor, regardless of creed."

"In the past, Russian President Vladimir Putin informed representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church that he would defend and protect Christianity and its followers. According to the representatives, he was concerned about the “urgent situation” facing Christians throughout the world, and vowed to use his power and influence to aid them in their fight against persecution.

According to the Russian Orthodox Church, a Christian is killed or is dying somewhere in the world every five minutes, as a direct result of following the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians have been under extreme duress in Afghanistan, Syria, and Egypt, countries where they have had large Christian populations for nearly 2000 years. These attacks have come as a result of extremist groups gaining great authority within the regions, and attempting to push out all “infidels” from the predominantly Muslim nations.

Metropolitan Hilarion, one of the heads of the Russian Orthodox Church presented this information to Putin, and asked for his assistance. Putin declared that he would provide defense of Christians throughout the world, as part of his overall foreign policy. He would defend Christians from persecution wherever they were.

Putin has taken the first steps in making this happen, by denying numerous U.N. resolutions demanding that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad abdicate his position as head of Syria. Al-Assad has a long standing record of supporting Christian churches in Syria, and there is a growing amount of violence against Christians and churches within areas that are now controlled by rebel factions.

Over the years Putin has made many statements expressing his “alarm” and “concern” at what is happening to Christians in Middle Eastern nations, as well as in North Africa. He has demanded that “infringements” upon the rights of minority faiths within these nations come to an end. President Putin’s policies have been aimed at defending Christians and their beliefs.

Russia has been under heavy scrutiny ever since a law was passed creating a propaganda ban against homosexuality. Western nations have been especially critical of Putin in general, for pushing the passage of this law, and U.S. journalists spent a great deal of time covering this issue during the recent Sochi Winter Olympics.

While there are other factors that came into play in creating the law, it is clear that Putin’s Christian upbringing, and belief in the faith, played a part in the decision to pass the law. At the time the law was passed, the Russian paper Pravda railed against the West on many fronts. They attacked homosexual church leaders, the ridiculing of Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin, and support of “immoral” behavior. Putin has been especially critical of U.S. courts that have recently overruled bans on gay marriage in several states. Putin points out that there must be respect for minority groups and their beliefs, but that there must also be “respect for the rights of the majority population.” He added that the rights of the majority cannot be questioned.

Putin has spoken openly of his faith, noting that most of Europe is rooted in Christianity, and that a denial of this is embarking on a path of “renouncing” their roots. Putin believes that Russia is the new leader in supporting Christian values and morals.

While many oppose his tactics, and the western media has done what they can to belittle and demean the Russian President, his message is gaining traction in Russia, and he is gaining support from religious leaders, especially in Europe. The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, continues to vow to defend Christianity and Christians throughout the world."

Think maybe all believers should move to Russia?????
I don't trust Putin any further than I could throw him, but the sad thing is I trust our own President even less. But I hope he does back up his words with action. Not expecting Obama to pay any attention to it, because he hasn't so far.

I can't discern Putin's true intentions.  I know that he probably took Crimea because it doesn't belong to the EU, and it is strategically located just to the North of the only NATO ally that borders Syria.  The US is crying foul over Crimea because it IS strategic.

Now, is Putin benevolent?  Well, he supports Iran (whose leaders have called for the destruction of Israel).  Maybe Putin is more of a moderate when it comes to intervention?  I don't know.

We do know he wants to buddy with Assad, but theN Assad was all that was saving Christians in Syria from the genocide they are now experiencing from the Muslims. I Haven't investigated Assad's sect of Islam, referenced in the article, but perhaps they are persecuted like the Ahmadiyyah.

But it is difficult to find any bad intentions to consider, since Putin has absolutely nothing to gain in terms of global politics by standing up for Christians, any differently than any others that have throughout the Christian era. Unless it's simple double dealing.
I don't think there's much question that the U.S. is on the wrong side in Syria.

Putin has had a rather checkered personal life, but even if he's not a Christian, that doesn't preclude him from having compassion for Christians that are being murdered by Muslims around the world, as even atheists and agnostics should - but generally don't (though there's at least one exception that visited our forum a while back).
