Atheists and Islam

Perhaps nobody should be more concerned about the expansion of Islam than atheists. Once Islam gains control of a country it groups residents into 3 categories. Muslims, kaffir and infidels. The "people of the book" (Christians and Jews) are tolerated as kaffir, as long as they pay the jizya tax and follow the Mohammedan's rules (which is impossible for Christians), but atheists and other non-believers, and those of religions other than Judaism or Christianity, are simply purged from the population.

I read somewhere recently that the moral decay of the West has left Islam on a higher moral ground, so that the West really has nothing to counter the claims of islam except "God is Love."

"Today it is different. We do not believe in the Scriptures; our Bibles have been distorted, and our sophistication and accumulated intelligence has made us see contradictions in every aspect of our former knowledge and wisdom. The modern scientists point out that we are simply an evolved animal, with a reflective mind -- a gift of evolution, a scientific theory that denies "intelligent design." What does it believe in then? What type of design does the theory of evolution believe in? Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Sex? Is the desire to have sex the only constant in life? This may seem too cynical a view to many, including the atheists. However, it is not a cynical view if it is simply accepted and utilized in its proper role. This brings us to our present state of grimness.......... Again, Obama is the barometer: ignore the grim state; play golf, take vacations, stay positive, smile a lot, and be serious when heckled ... maybe even keep your job?

Take for example this Mosque at Ground Zero issue. Even Democrats are now getting upset, but Obama has the better instinct, and it is not just his throwing off the opposition. Obama's solution for the Democrats in maintaining control of the Congress and the leadership positions is that more Muslims should enter government -- more Muslim Congressmen and Senators. In fact, if a proportional number of Muslims end up getting elected (instead of old fashioned Christian Democrats like Senators Robert Byrd and Ted Kennedy), there will be no more issues like "don't build a mosque there." And the ratio of women to men will no longer be 5:1 as each American Muslim takes on four legal wives and a few extra concubines -- shall we call them mistresses? Well, this may be what Jefferson had in mind after all when he added the phrase "and the pursuit of happiness" to our inalienable rights."  Aug. 24, 2010
