The Currency of the Beast
« on: December 05, 2014, 05:57:15 AM »
I understand that, in November, 'Islamic State' declared its intention to mint and issue Islamic currency along the lines of the coinage issued by Abd al-Malik at the very end of the seventh century.
Some information on this is given in the following article -

Is this the means by which the Beast with a head that appeared "as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed" (Revelation 13:3) might control all buying and selling - as in Revelation 13:17?  What do you think?

Fiat currency is non-Islamic. Also non-anybody-else prior to the 20th century, as the long line of failed paper currency, and history of collapsed artificial money systems attest. Phony money was particularly non-U.S., until the 20th century debasement and subsequent devaluation of our once-sound "money". The global economic system will fail as a result of phony money.

Is this the means by which the Beast with a head that appeared "as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed" (Revelation 13:3) might control all buying and selling - as in Revelation 13:17?  What do you think?

It may not be long before some countries insist on payment in precious metals for oil. I'm surprised it didn't result from the collapse of 07-08, when the fragile nature of the false global monetary system, finally became pretty universally recognized. Even CNBC talking heads now casually use phrases like "printing phony money". Keynesian economics died in '07 and has been on life support ever since. The Chinese who are hording gold and silver will probably beat the Muslims to the punch as soon as a slowdown results in a diminished flow of cash from U.S. consumption. Even built a new vault to store it in. Meanwhile they are taking our phony fake digital and paper cash, and are converting it into precious metals.

However consider what has already happened to the non-Muslim remnant throughout the Middle East and northern Africa. It barely exists, let alone being able to live among Muslims. It could be that the mortal wound suffered by the LBL beast was the Battle of Tours France, which marked the zenith and beginning of the decline of the Islamic First Jihad, which would seem to be confirmed mathematically. With the Islamic beast having been healed through the transfer of western wealth through oil purchase and arms sales, financing the Second Islamic Jihad in the image of the first Jihad. Jihad is the pinnacle of worship in Islam.

Through an ethnographic hermeneutic (bible prophecy being about God's people in the Holy Land and surroundings), with the exception of those whose freedom, liberty and right to self-determination is protected by the democracy of the Israeli Jewish state, the rest of John's whole "world" is already marked by the name of the beast - Islam.

Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Strong's: world
New Testament Greek Definition:
3625 oikoumene {oy-kou-men'-ay}
feminine participle present passive of 3611 (as noun, by
implication of 1093); TDNT - 5:157,674; n f
AV - world 14, earth 1; 15
1) the inhabited earth
1a) the portion of the earth inhabited by the Greeks, in
distinction from the lands of the barbarians

1b) the Roman empire, all the subjects of the empire
1c) the whole inhabited earth, the world
1d) the inhabitants of the earth, men
2) the universe, the world

Through the more scholarly ethnographic hermeneutic - that is viewing the whole "world" as what was, is and was yet to come as viewed through John's first century eyes - it could be that the mark of the beast is a fulfilled prophecy.
