Title: Saudi Arabia didn't outlaw slavery until 1962
Post by: Pete on June 18, 2008, 05:12:27 PM
While Saudi Arabia didn't outlaw slavery until 1962 (officially that is) we can see that it is practiced unto today.
Also multiple wives and concubinage.
Particularly consider sex slaves.

Oman didn't outlaw it until about 1970.

Still practiced widely throughout Mohammedan Africa today
