Google is the filth and trash, people like you use to gossip about teachers of Gods word. As I said before you can google King James and read all the smut people put out there and it is lies. Just like what they put out there about Murray. Post what you will about him. Your only going to be one of the many false prophets that have done so.

By the words of your false teacher is his fruit heard and made known. Do you believe that someone being led by the Holy Spirit would say take a 9mm to that boy? Listen to the brief audio clip in the following link of the words of your teacher!

General Discussion / Re: Another perspective for "that man of sin"
« on: July 08, 2011, 12:14:25 AM »
When I read the link you posted,(http://articles.latimes.com/2011/may/11/local/la-me-0511-presbyterians-2-20110511) it brought to mind the following,
Rom 1:24  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Rom 1:26  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

With what we see happening in the churches today could this be part of the "falling away" we read about in 2 Thessalonians 2:3?
Could the "man of sin" be sitting amongst the body of believers and not in some future temple as is taught today?
Even though this verse is as you said "proof-texted as evidence for a coming antichrist" as taught by many demoninations. It is not in harmony with what God's Word says about the antichrist.
1Jn 2:22  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
and
1Jn 4:3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Is this possibly the lie we are told about in scripture, the evidence of a coming antichrist taught today?
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Just a thought.
This is my first post and if this has already been discussed then please bear with me brothers and sisters.

Be Blessed
