as a Muslim, but after a couple years of chats with them I have a pretty good understanding of what it is they believe, and particularly
why it is they believe what they do. Besides the obvious being raised as a follower of Mohammed, the
why, unfortunately, is much easier for non-Muslims to see than it is for our indoctrinated Muslim friends to see.
In a nutshell, the only why Muslims believe what they do is because Mohammed said it.Why do Muslims believe Mohammed's "Allah" gave revelations to Mohammed?
Because Mohammed said he did. Yet not a single person ever WITNESSED hearing "Allah"s or Gabriel's voice give Mohammed a single "revelation".
Why do Muslims believe Mohammed was a prophet?
Because Mohammed said he was a prophet. Yet not a single prophecy of Mohammed was ever fulfilled.
