There would seem to be a strong relationship between anti-Zionism and liberalism.
This is evidenced through politics, as well as the split in the church on this subject, with the liberal portion of the church tending toward anti-Zionism, and the conservative portion of the church defending Zionism.
Zionism (Hebrew: ×¦×™×•× ×•×ªâ€Ž, Tsiyonut) is a form of nationalism of Jews and Jewish culture that supports a Jewish nation state in territory defined as the Land of Israel.[1]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionism"Zionism, the national movement for the return of the Jewish people to their homeland and the resumption of Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel, advocated, from its inception, tangible as well as spiritual aims."

World Council of Churches (ecumenical Marxist) divesting or considering divestment of Israeli assets, joining
liberal universites like Berkley, the
Muslim Student Union where the children engage in
their brand of free speech -
Muhammad style - as well as of the old
Arab League and other Muslim boycotts from before 1948.
