It is tough having to decide between a Mormon and a Muslim, while a vote for the Constitution Party, for example, would result in reelection and likely even more babies killed.
I get the thought process, but even our prior 'Christian' president GWB believed that Muslims and Christians worshipped the same god.
I will move this to a politics section that is only available to members of the ecclesia which I believe is safe to include you in now.
I wasn't attempting to start a political discussion, but was trying to point out the disingenuous nature of the statements. Politics aside, this is an organization that actively engages in evangelism in a huge way, under the name of an icon of 20th century evangelism.
A great man of God, however whose fingerprints may be on the modern concept of making a "decision" and parroting a "sinners prayer" taking the place of preaching repentance.
First, the veiled support for Romney, and second, Franklin's saying, "Now, of course they believe in Jesus Christ, but they have a lot of other things that they believe in too that we don't accept theologically". Franklin's statement (combined with the removal of the Mormonism article on their website) make it sound as if the difference between Mormonism and Christianity is merely a matter of doctrine when, in reality, Mormons do not believe in Jesus Christ.
Franklin Graham has, however, been very outspoken about Islam. Muhammad's followers hate him.

CAIR franklin grahamCAIR as you likely know, is the U.S. wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. They hate Franklin Graham because he understands what Islam is and informs others about it.
Christ is not Jesus' last name... it is (as you know) a title. They believe in a "Jesus", but their Jesus is not the Christ. I am under the impression that, year by year, people's beliefs in the one true living God and His Anointed Son will be slowly eroded by these sorts of things (political correctness).
By endorsing Romney and removing the article, we may be "saving" babies, but may be losing many more adults to the jaws of hell.
Romney would have NEVER gotten the nomination if the votes for his challengers hadn't remained distributed between several people. Nor would he have if he hadn't been the guy that the mainstream liberal media picked as the most likely to loose to Obama and therefore supported him while ignoring the other candidates. But here we are and here he is.
So do we retain a president that is pro-Islam and anti-Israel?
Or elect someone that is pro-Christian and pro-Israel?
Mormonism is one of those cults like the Illuminati that is composed of concentric rings. Some of the guys in the outer rings are pretty ignorant as to what happens the deeper a person gets into it. We could always hope Romney never got past the outer couple of rings!
These are perilous times.
I believe these are the last times. Whoever gets elected will likely be blamed for participating in a global economic collapse, however that has been irretrievably inn the works since the establishment of the Federal Reserve and phony money, and Keynesian economics.
My apologies for not being clearer in my point.
I thought you did fine. I might have embellished mine a little more for clarity.
