Barak Obama glowingly claimed that "call to prayer" (adhan) “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunsetâ€
This is old news in this forum, but I thought it deserved a dedicated thread, which I apparently failed to do when the subject first came up.
Of course since
the Islamic call to prayer is pure unadulterated blasphemy against the one true God of the Bible and His prophets - Jesus Christ being chief among the blasphemed - so a Christian could never suggest it is a pretty sound. More like catcalling or a cat's claws on a blackboard, to a Christian that knows what the Arabic translates as which in part says:
"I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."From a Christian perspective Muhammad was, of course, a lying, blaspheming antichrist:
Surah 19:88
They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 89 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!1 John 2:22
He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father.....http://www.falseprophetmuhammad.com/islam_is_antichrist.htmSurah 4:157
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus ..... but they killed him not, nor crucified him ..... for of a surety they killed him not:-http://www.falseprophetmuhammad.com/Per the NY Times article:
"He spent four years as a child in Indonesia and attended schools in the Indonesian language, which he still speaks.
“I was a little Jakarta street kid,†he said in a wide-ranging interview in his office (excerpts are on my blog,
www.nytimes.com/ontheground).
He once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school, but a president is less likely to stereotype Muslims as fanatics — and more likely to be aware of their nationalism — if he once studied the Koran with them.
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “
one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.†"
I'm posting the NY Times because our Muslim friends will be less likely to demonize the messenger:

It should along with every other Christian or red-blooded American that isn't given over to politically correct buffoonery.
http://www.falseprophetmuhammad.com/islamophobia_or_christian_love.htmCould a Christian ever refer to a book filled with blasphemy against the Son of God as "the holy Quran"?
