Islam is closest in practice and monotheism tot he Israelite religion, ISlam is the closest to the Christians becuase we honour the Israelite Messiah - Al Masih Jesus (pbuh) and his honourable mother. God's people have followed Him for 3500 years through His record.

John 14:6 refers to every messenger who comes to his people in his time! he the messenger brings with him revelation from God and it is only through his message that you can acheive salvation.
