Hypocrisy in the koran

I would like to take a moment to illuminate two of the highest of muslim hypocrisies.

1. In verse 119 (below) we read that muslims love non-believers but non-believers do not love muslims. And we are told that muslims believe in all the Scriptures. However muslims do not believe in ALL the scriptures because they believe them to be corrupted. An idea that has been debunked on this very site. Why do muslims believe they are corrupted? Because they clearly show Muhammad for the false prophet he is. And as for muslims loving us, would pronouncing curses, inciting violence, stealing from us, lying to us, killing us, and being forbidden to take us as friends be considered actions of love? Muhammad must have thought so because he taught all of those things in the koran.

119. Lo! You are the ones who love them but they love you not, and you believe in all the Scriptures [i.e. you believe in the Taur't (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), while they disbelieve in your Book, the Qur'an]. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe". But when they are alone, they bite the tips of their fingers at you in rage. Say: "Perish in your rage. Certainly, All'h knows what is in the breasts (all the secrets)."


In verse 120 (below) we read that non-muslims rejoice when something bad happens to a muslim. Their may be some who do, but non-muslims in general do not. I can assure you no true Christian does. However I have seen muslims rejoicing over the bad that befalls innocent men and women. Consider the 9/11 attacks.

120. If a good befalls you, it grieves them, but if some evil overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if you remain patient and become Al-Muttaq'n (the pious - see V.2:2), not the least harm will their cunning do to you. Surely, All'h surrounds all that they do.

From a Christian and Jewish perspective I can assure you we do not celebrate the death of any muslim or any evil that overtakes them. How can I assure muslims of that? True Christians and practicing Jews have the Scriptures to guide them. We are taught among many things this:

For Jews and Christians we have:

Pro 25:21   If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:

For Christians we have:

Mat 5:44   But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;  

If you see anyone celebrating a muslim's death or struggle they are not doing as God has taught. Period.
