OK, Lets look at the verses that you present to me in the CONTEXT!!!!!!
"When thy Lord inspired the angels, (saying): I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger." (Sura 8:12) [PICKTHAL]
When thy Lord inspired the angels? This is verse is talking about what happened back then. Also, if you go to the next verse you will know WHY!!! God order them to go to war with unbelievers.
"That is because they opposed Allah and His messenger. Whoso opposeth Allah and His messenger, (for him) lo! Allah is severe in punishment." (Sura 8:13) [PICKTHAL]
You see! There is a reason Why they went to war. Unlike the Bible, Where God kills innocent women & children (Even Animals) to take over thier lands.

Not only you take the verse out of context, but you never even complete the verse its self!!! and this is DEVILISH!!!
