If you are being taught a unique pop-idea that Bible prophecy is about Barak Obama and/or the United States, did you ever stop to wonder what a more scholarly and traditional approach to Bible prophecy that includes the history of the Christian era, might reveal? What taking a uniform approach to all Bible prophecy might show us?

I am referring to the traditional historicist approach to Bible prophecy of the Christian era church, including those great men of God of the Reformation, and through which you yourselves approach Old Testament Bible prophecy. And as the available evidence suggests was the approach of the church to New Testament prophecy, prior to the the 19th century, when the pop-approaches of preterism and futurism began to come into vogue.

Through disciplined study within the science of hermeneutics, in conjunction with the day-year "language of prophecy" that was recognized by so many throughout the Christian era, Bible prophecy may well paint a bulls eye squarely on Muhammad's back as THE false prophet of the book of Revelation, and his Islamic kingdom "beast" as the final foe of God's people.

Does this really come as a surprise, as the new Caliphate of the Islamic State is even beheading Christian children, who refuse to renounce Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior? When Muslims have killed or displaced over 2 million innocents in the Sudan alone through Islamic Jihad. As Muhammad's followers have murdered tens of thousands of Christians in Nigeria, and on the Ivory Coast as they continue to do around much of the world today.

Is it a simple coincidence that one-third of mankind in the world today believe that Christ was crucified, died and was resurrected from the dead, as revealed through the prophets and witnesses of the 1600 year record of revelation of the one true God to mankind, whose people have followed Him through two covenants for 3500 years.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

A record of revelation that commands us to not only love our neighbor as ourselves, but even to love our enemies.

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

So to the laity of Independence Baptist Church, does it really make sense that THE false prophet is the "papacy" (when an investigation of the Koine Greek reveals the definite article "the" and singular for false prophet), even though Roman Catholics are included in the group described above as believing we are saved through the shed blood of the Lamb of God and believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Or does it make more sense that............

A directly opposing one-quarter of mankind in the counter-Gospel anti-religion of Islam are required to disbelieve the whole subject of the Gospel, and thus reject the sin-atoning shed blood of the Messiah, and deny the Son of God - as articles of their faith in Muhammad alone.

Quran Surah 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

Quran Surah 19:88 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 89 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!

Through Muhammad's heavily abrogated stand-alone 23 year 7th century record his followers are commanded to "fight and slay" non-Muslims and to subjugate all of humanity to Muhammad's followers:

Bukhari, V1 B2 #24 Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle.....

It would of course be pure blasphemy for a Jew or Christian to "testify" to that, since if Muhammad was a true prophet, then the prophets and witnesses as revealed in the 1600 year record of revelation of YHWH to mankind would be false. In particular Jesus Christ, who prophesied His own crucifixion, death and resurrection.

As if that weren't stunning enough, followers of Muhammad are taught that they would commit the single most "heinous" and ONLY UNFORGIVABLE SIN ("shirk") in Muhammad's anti-religion, if a Muslim were to confess that Jesus is the Son of God, or even to pray in Jesus' name. The unforgivable "sin" of praying in Jesus' name, as opposed to child rape or cold-blooded mass murder for example, which may be forgiven. Whose deity even curses Jews and Christians, while he commands Muhammad's followers to fight and subdue all non-Muslims into submission, including specifically YHWH's people:

Surah 9.29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 30 The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

So Islam is to Christianity, as the negative is, to a photograph. A perfect inverse.

1John 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

One would think the stunning nature of this spiritual conflict alone, would be enough to give even a staunch atheist pause, to ponder the odds. However much of the "church", is blinded to this imperialistic conquest, and subjugation of mankind to the powers of darkness, primarily because of eschatology that was popularized in the 19th and 20th centuries. Even though the scriptures make it abundantly clear:

1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also].

So how well has the church been served, by the idea of a single individual as "The" "Antichrist", whether as held by preterists or futurists? More on the spirit of antichrist at BeholdTheBeast.com.

If you have never considered New Testament prophecy through the traditional historicist approach, as those great men of God of the Reformation and the church up until the last couple hundred years did, we encourage you to at least explore this entire context and consider it completely on its own merit. In other words it won't be of much use to investigate one of the four mutually exclusive approaches to New Testament prophecy with which you are presently unfamiliar, by trying to wring it through the filter of your current approach at every turn, whether that be preterism or futurism.

Muhammad and Islam in Bible prophecy are certainly not new subjects in the church, as they were fairly universally recognized through the traditional historicist approach to prophecy, prior to the pop-eschatologies of the 19th and 20th centuries.

For example, of Revelation chapter 9:  John Foxe who authored Foxe’s Book of Martyrs wrote that it is “clearer than light itself” as being a prophecy of the Muslim conquests.

Albert Barnes: “With surprising unanimity, commentators have agreed in regarding this to the empire of the Saracens (Muslims), or to the rise and the progress of the religion and the empire set up by Muhammed.”

W.B. Godbey: “This chapter is a thrilling description of the rise and progress of the Mohammedan wars.”

Of the locusts of Revelation 9:  Adam Clarke: “certainly agrees better with the Saracens than with any other people or nation” and “agrees very well with the troops of Mohammed.”

Matthew Henry: “the armies of the Mohamedan empire.”

John Wesley: “All this agrees with the slaughter which the Saracens made for a long time after Mahomet’s death.”

When will the pop-church finally see? How many more examples do we need during this great tribulation?

In another case: "Sister Hatune Dogan told WND in a Skype interview that members of the Syrian opposition are draining the blood of Christians they behead and selling vials to [Saudi] Islamic radicals for $100,000 a piece.
The Syrian Orthodox nun explained that the blood is used in a ritual washing of hands in the belief the act atones for sins and provides privileged access to heaven."

Muslims Force Young Christian Girls To Watch Their Mother Get Beheaded:  "Muslims in Somalia seized two Christians, a mother of two daughters and her cousin, and after calling the entire village to gather together, they beheaded them in cold blood. The Muslims were so absent of shame, that they even had the woman’s two daughters, ages 8 and 15, watch their own mother get beheaded."

In Indonesia 3 teenage girls were beheaded on their way to their Christian school and one of their heads left on the steps of a Church.  The note left behind reads:  We will murder 100 more Christian teenagers and their heads will be presented as presents."

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Do you really think Jesus would approve of Independence Baptist Church pointing the finger at the papacy as "the false prophet", when 1.5 billion people - 1/4 of mankind in the world today - are required to DISbelieve the crucifixion of Christ and thus REJECT His shed blood, and DENY and blaspheme the Son of God as articles of their faith in THE false prophet Muhammad alone?
