That is, the web site called "Behold the Beast".  Not the forum but the actual web page.

That is, the web site called "Behold the Beast".  Not the forum but the actual web page.

I uploaded both, and I am certainly open to suggestions or criticism. Most of that site I haven't even reread for a few years, and I have learned a lot more and am a bit better at expressing these things, since then. Also the relative importance of things becomes more clear, like the whole concept of "shirk", has really sunk in recently. But if I don't reply to your comments in the immediate term, it is because I am going to be off-grid for a couple of weeks beginning tomorrow, and preparing to leave up until then.

It began a half a dozen years ago when I read The False Prophet and Shining Man With Hurt Hands. I called to order some hard copies, and then don't know quite how but wound up asking a question and the gal on the phone asked me if I wanted to ask the author. Was I ever surprised! That woman on the phone was Ellis' wife, and after she handed me over to him I asked some questions, and then over the ensuing weeks I probably called every day. I went into Christian forums and presented the material to get it challenged by other Christians, so I could find questions I hadn't even thought to ask. I did that full time for a couple of years, and continued to do it part time for maybe another year, and didn't find it of further use. It is really heartbreaking to see how the church is divided in terms of eschatology and the vitriol and animus that results. That makes it pretty apparent that all false doctrine is the work of the enemy, let alone that futurists and preterists are precluded from even considering, that Muhammad could be THE false prophet.

Often the threads I started resulted in little to no replies, because while they challenged the beliefs of the other forum members, the posts just made to much sense for them to argue with. Within the last couple of years I went into two more forums - and didn't know why - but after the fact realized it helped me see the importance of pointing out the traditional nature of Ellis' Bible study. It really catches folks flatfooted when you tell them they cannot deny they are historicists themselves - when it comes to Old Testament prophecy. I had always avoided broaching church differences on my websites because I didn't want to confuse Muslims that happened by, that wouldn't understand those differences regard the figurative language of dreams and visions in prohpecy, and not universal Christian core doctrine.

Well after being a while with Ellis I thought it would be a good idea to pull the book out of the PDF and put it in HTML, so that search engines and spiders and bots could find the key words a little easier. PDFs particularly back then, were like locking words up out of sight. So he told me to go ahead, and so I put The False Prophet into the website, and the rest of the site is the result of my discussing subjects with folks in forums. Particularly being compelled to work things like the Olivet Discourse out, that Ellis' doesn't cover in his book, but no shortage of partial preterists will bring up in forums. The forum wound up being a good way to catalog things I came across while engaged in this. Things too minor to devote a page to on the website, but still important. Behold the Beast and the forum have continued to be developed over some years, as details of this profound and obvious truth, becomes ever more apparent.

After the more recent chats in other forums I realized I could address the church, in a dedicated website, and with the title Christian Eschatology figured mostly only Christians would find it.

By the way, if anyone has a favorite site they would like others to see, one of the best ways to promote it is to set it as your browser home page, so that every time you open your browser it logs a hit on the site.
