Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Teams respond to areas where natural disasters have occurred. In the aftermath of Katrina, they supplied food and water to workers and residents who lost their supply, and did far more reconstruction and assistance than FEMA even thought about. Same with last year's hurricane in New York City, which name escapes me at the moment. They were on the scene in Tuscaloosa and other areas hit by the 2011 and 2012 tornados, and have also gone out of the country to areas where their services were needed.
