Your suggestion that it is a "Man Made Doctrines" is false. Lord knows there is no shortage of man made doctrines in the "church" but the crucifixion, death and resurrection of the Messiah is not one of them. There has not been a Christian over the last nearly 2,000 years who has denied this, or they simply wouldn't be a Christian because that's the WHOLE SUBJECT of the Gospel.

Here are the testimonies of contemporaries of Jesus. John was even an eye witness.

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

ateef your understanding of Christian and Jewish doctrine needs some fleshing out. Testament is the greek word for covenant. God entered into a covenant with Abraham and then renewed that covenant through Isaac, and later Jacob. Jesus would have most certainly known and taught about that covenant. However, Jesus also instituted a better covenant that had been mentioned in Jeremiah.

Jer 31:31    Â¶    Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Jer 31:32         Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

Jer 31:33         But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

The covenant would be instituted by a substitutionary sacrifice just as the old covenant was. Instead of the blood of an animal being shed for the remission of sin it would be the blood of a sinless, and perfect man who was God made flesh so that His death would be efficacious for all those who entered into the new covenant for the remission of sin. The new covenant just as Jesus said did not abolish the old covenant but rather fulfilled it bringing it to a fullness in Him. The old covenant was not enough to change the heart. One can easily follow a set of rules but still want to do evil in their heart. The new covenant effects a change on the heart. As for the wine/blood issue. Have you never seen a metaphor before? Jesus was speaking metaphorically about the wine and bread. Only much later did the RCC teach as official doctrine that the wine and bread literally transubstantiated into the blood and flesh of Jesus.

That's right we should "read the Whole Scripture and reason." When we do we find that from early on in Yahweh's revelation to mankind He revealed that it is the blood of sacrifice that atones for sin. This was the whole purpose of the alter in the temple that He had His people build on in Jerusalem.

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul.
