whyislam.org - Why Islam Forum
« on: July 17, 2012, 09:55:51 AM »
I recently revisited the "Why Islam" forum, and after several posts and threads, was summarily banned without a single PM, warning or discussion of any sort from administration. It could have perhaps been the result of a thread which seemed to have caused some conviction among Muhammad's followers in the forum.

Though I did post some replies that perhaps unnecessarily went a bit over the top in regard to the typical Islamic forum prohibition of "insulting" their "prophet". That prohibition of course makes every non-Muslim in a Muslim forum guilty of rule breaking in very short order because, at least for Christians, it is impossible to consider Muhammad as other than a false prophet since he proclaimed the EXACT OPPOSITE of the WHOLE SUBJECT of the Gospel. Let alone that Muhammad's followers blaspheme our prophet Jesus and our scriptures at every turn.
I only regret that I didn't tread a little more softly, as I did in my prior visit there of nearly 3 years ago.
I suppose the biggest loss from the sudden ban was my inability to continue to answer to the many replies to my posts and threads.

I was particularly eager to revisit this post of a poster named Corinna who seems Jew, but is labeled agnostic (I was about to inquire about that too):

Without realizing it she basically supported what she was arguing against. She also criticized my version of the Tanac (which I use with Jews because it is from rabidly "counter-missionary" Jews), and she provided a wonderful translation regarding one line in Psalms, which was:

"18 reads:  I can count all my bones;  they look on and gloat over me."

I CAN COUNT ALL my bones! In this case the KJV "I may tell all my bones..." and the Tanach I referenced "I tell about all my bones..." may have done me a bit of a disservice since I just discovered that Corinna's is a common translation: http://bible.cc/psalms/22-17.htm

Anyway, the point is, not a bone of the Passover Lamb of God was broken!

Perhaps someone in here can pick up the mantle and take over in that forum where I left off with a "what a wonderful correction.....".
