According to census stats released for the Jewish New Year, the total population of Israel, not including illegal immigrants, stands at about 7,933,200 people. Of these, 1,636,600 are Arabs and 318,000 are listed under the category of "others." Jews make up 75.3% of the total population in Israel, not including illegal aliens.

The Jewish population has grown by about 70,000 since the end of 2011, when it stood at about 5,907,000.

The Jewish population's rate of growth in 2011 was 1.8%, similar to the rate in the last eight years.
70,000 people in less than a year, even with all the current existential threats.

Something to think about.

I saw a show about Tel Aviv not long ago. I just did a quick Wikipedia which also said it was rated the third "hottest" city in 2011 behind New York and Tangiers. Looks like a pretty cosmopolitan and also hedonistic place ("The City That Never Sleeps"), while being a very high tech society.

I have had some chats with preterists lately, and while they really squirm regarding the fruit of their anti-Zionist tree, I pointed out that they must agree that the restoration of the Jews to their land is either of the Lord or it is of Satan. Thus they must believe it is of Satan since their doctrine doesn't allow them to believe it is of the Lord, putting them in some pretty unpleasant company.
That is what I'd call a pretty sharp division. We need to pray for those so sorely deluded.

Made perfect sense that the Dems took God and Israel out of their platform.

I find that amusing since "full preterists" have to believe that Satan has already been cast into the lake of fire. The dissonance is strong in these ones.
