Mohammed in Bible Prophecy

While the places where Muslims believe Mohammed to be in bible prophecy, have been shown to be Messianic prophecies of Jesus coming, proven through the internal evidence in the bible as detailed in this forum section, this does not mean that Mohammed is not to be found in bible prophecy. One first has to realize that Mohammed WAS and taught the EXACT OPPOSITE of Jesus Christ:

Mat 26:28 For this is MY BLOOD of the new testament, which is SHED FOR MANY for the remission of sins.

Surah 4:157 That THEY SAID (in boast), "WE KILLED CHRIST JESUS the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- BUT THEY KILLED HIM NOT, NOR CRUCIFIED HIM, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, FOR OF A SURETY THEY KILLED HIM NOT:-

Thus in that SINGLE VERSE Mohammed denies ALL of the New Testament prophets, apostles and it's WHOLE SUBJECT, of the new covenant. So at least Christians should know exactly where to find Mohammed in prophecy:

Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

But Mohammed even came as a ravening wolf.

Sura 8:12 I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

And the fruit of Islam, over 13,000 deadly Islamic terror attacks around the world, just since 9-11: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/

The PERFECT OPPOSITE of Jesus in deed and book. The most violent act of Jesus was overturning the tables of the moneychangers at the temple.

Jesus healed the lame so they could walk.
Mohammed brought lameness to the walking. "they were brought, and he had their hands and feet cut off." video
Jesus brought sight to the blind.
Mohammed brought blindness to the seeing. "...he ordered for nails which were heated and passed over their eyes..."
Jesus brought the dead back to life.
Mohammed had the living murdered. - She had five children, and the youngest was sleeping at her breast. The assassin gently removed the child, drew his sword, and plunged it into her, killing her in her sleep.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

But Mohammed cannot deceive God’s elect. Any so-called Christian "converts" to Islam are only those that deluded themselves into believing they had been Christian.

One of the most blessed verses in all of Christianity is:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

No surprise then that Mohammed's answer is:

Sura 19:88 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 89 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!

2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Once we understand Daniel's lion, bear and leopard kingdom "beasts", and John's leopard-bear-lion beast, Islam comes sharply into focus as the beast of Revelation 13.

Mohammed then comes sharply into focus as THE false prophet prophesied and Islam as the end-time foe of God's people:

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The world is rapidly headed for the greatest tragedy in the history of mankind.

I never heard or read a bible verse which contains prophesy about Mohammed.  From the Old Testament through the New Testament prophets and apostles prophesied and testified about Jesus the very son of God. However, we should respect their belief.

Respect who's belief? Surely you don't mean as Christians we are to respect a religion that teaches the EXACT OPPOSITE of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Respect thinly repackaged pagan Arabian rituals that demand that Mohammed's followers bow toward the Quraish's black stone idol 5 times a day? Even travel to it and march around it like the pagans before Mohammed did.

Hi lambfollower,

Welcome to the forum :)

You are quite right. I can respect someone's right to believe something false, in that I do not antagonize them unjustly, but I cannot nor will I respect a lie. Jesus spent much of His ministry confronting error and lies with strong words clearly showing a lack of respect for sin while still maintaining the dignity of man. Political correctness has a strangle hold on the West and more and more people are falling prey. Capitulating to Islam is like feeding others in a fence to an alligator. You give the alligator everything it wants in the hopes that it will leave you be. But eventually you will be all that is left and guess what? CHOMP!! So better to deal with the alligator now while we can.

Thanks for sharing. Feel free to drop by and post anytime.

Again welcome to the forum.
Doth that man love his Lord who would be willing to see Jesus wearing a crown of thorns, while for himself he craves a chaplet of laurel? Shall Jesus ascend to his throne by the cross, and do we expect to be carried there on the shoulders of applauding crowds? Charles H. Spurgeon
