God is fair. If you as a christian choose to interpret the verse in the quran in the 4th surah that says: that the one that pledges loyalty to the prophet has pledged loyalty to Allah. - in the sense that our prophet claimed divinity according to the quran. Then it would be my obligation to point out the reasons as why this is not possible according to the quran, instead of just saying " no, muslims know best, because of the fact that we are muslims".

The point of temptation is to lead men astray from the path of God ON THIS EARTH. When you reach heaven as a result of having succeeded to avoid the temptation, you are completely out of satans reach, so if it were from satan he would encourage that alcoholism and greed and free sex on this earth and not ask you to abstain from it until you reach heaven where he has NO power whatsoever over you.
