I am trying to do 3 day dry fasting (day and night one). But I am not doing well. Do U think if I can do 6 days morning dry fast will count the same. I beleive 3 day fasting like Esther did would pull out any strongholds. Today was my first day and at 2pm I threw up and felt I should still continue.. but then had a very bad head ache and nausea. So I decided to think about another form I can do. Pls suggest and share your opinion in this regard. Thanks.
Hi UNP5 and welcome to the forum!
I am kind of weak on this subject from a general health perspective. But if it causes you such an adverse reaction it is kind of hard to imagine that it's what Jesus wants for you either. Blessedly we aren't saved through acts of the flesh, but through the grace of God.
Personally I don't have any trouble going from a dinner, through the next day, and into the third. In fact it makes me feel stronger and leaner. Also helps arrest prior bad eating habits. The not infrequent hunger pang certainly helps one to be more frequently reminded of Jesus sacrifice for all mankind. How about abstaining from breathing?
If you are a TV watcher, perhaps you could trade some of that time over a few days and read a bible or some christian books instead. If you haven't read Bruchko that is a super read (
book section). Also I highly recommend The False Prophet by Ellis Skolfield. For almost 30 years he has written about Islam's central role in end-time prohecy. It's available in several languages and it's free!
http://www.beholdthebeast.com/the_false_prophet.htmMr. Skolfield also found himself thrust into ministry for several years with people that suffer from MPD (multiple personality disorder). This book move me more deeply than any book I have ever read and will have you staring straight into the spirit world: http://www.fish-house.com/pdf/ShiningMan.pdf
A little head's up on Islam written by a Nigerian is also free:

Martyr's Mirror http://www.homecomers.org/mirror/
http://www.beholdthebeast.com/great_tribulation.htmSometimes from our cushy lives here in the west gazing out the window from our Lazyboy chairs it's easy to get disconnected with how much of the rest of the world is suffering.
Much of the church thinks that "the" tribulation is reserved for some future period, but they really need to ask a guy like this for his opinion:
My sister fasted for 30 days once on water only. I don't recommend that.
Once again thanks for logging in, and were tickled to have you in the forum.
