A nonspecific website criticism by email with response

Following is an email that I responded to today. Seems part of the crowd that desires to blame everything but Muhammad, the Quran and Hadith, for the murder, mayhem and misery perpetrated by the followers of Muhammad around the world today:


"I'd like to point out that things like your site are the reason that Islam is growing our Churches are emptying out like gutwounds.  Most people go to church now to hear music.

There is absolutely no love coming from you, and that is the single thing that Jesus asked from you...no turning the cheek,  no give and shall be given,  just hate, bigotry and nonsense.

When you can explain credibly Jesus asking himself why he had forsaken himself,and why he sent himself to be sacrificed so that he could repeal his law of blood sacrifice (instead of just getting rid of it without the pantomime) then Muslims may be required to answer even one of your suggestions.

If you pick and choose the bad parts of things, then look at the history of Christians, while you're at it...we've lived entirely contrary to Christ for our entire existence...you're so good at finding proofs,  so you probably already know that...kill, kill, kill.

Thank you for the email, though it did include some empty accusation, without specifics regarding the "hate, bigotry and nonsense" you suggested. Since we operate several websites it would help if you could be more specific.

The ecumenical/interfaith pluralist nature of your email, would suggest you're more victim of than remedy for, the prophesied "falling away" which even you suggest the "church" may unhappily find itself in.

You might agree that Jesus IS truth, so wouldn't the best way to serve Him need to begin by seeking out and following the truth? Yet you seem to desire to run and hide from or paper over the truth, regarding Islam, rather than face and address it.

A Christian only needs a single verse from the Quran to understand that all Muslims must DISbelieve the crucifixion of Christ and thus reject His shed blood - the whole subject of the Gospel - as an article of their faith in THE false prophet Muhammad alone:

Is my pointing out the matter of fact opposite and opposing nature of Islam, what you would characterize as "If you pick and choose the bad parts of things..."?

Do you think the best way to love Muslims, is to pretend that Muhammad was a prophet of the God of Christians and Jews, thereby endorsing Muhammad's lies and encouraging them to continue down the path they are on?

Muslims must deny (and even blaspheme) the Son of God as another article of their faith in Muhammad alone:

How can we help Muhammad's followers overcome Satan's specifically counter-Gospel, antichrist, anti-religion of Islam, if we hide the truth from them and pretend that Muhammad was a "messenger" from other than Satan himself? Indeed Islam is a direct inversion of the Gospel.

However you seem to misunderstand the growth of Islam. Islam is growing because Muslims have children at 3 to 4 times the rate of westerners:

You are flirting with blasphemy yourself, by suggesting an equivalence between the historical anti-Gospel murderous violence of the Roman Church, which was as you suggest "contrary to Christ" and what we are commanded through the Gospel.....

It is true that my simple matter-of-fact approach may seem more of a hardball approach, even though I simply present the truth, as I have come to understand it. The body of Christ contains many members that are individually and uniquely called.

Since Muslims are killed by State statute, or at least disinherited and shunned by their families and community for coming to Christ, it can take many years for them to stop blinding themselves to the truth.

Having known the administrator and moderator of this site since before it's inception I can truthfully say that the author of the email criticism this is in response to has totally misunderstood the purpose of of Brother Pete as well as the purpose of Islam.  While Brother Pete's purpose is to shed light on the darkness, the critics email has the effect of dismissing it altogether.  In truth, the darkness of Islam is nothing more the absence of light. It has no actual content of it's own but instead is nothing more than the echo of the source of spiritual darkness himself, Satan.  Brother Pete is simply offering the Apostle Johns prescription for such darkness: "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."  John 1:5   Brother Pete is called to shine the Light on the darkness of Islam for those who desire light but are looking in the wrong places.  Islam is certainly darkness and Christians need not fear it, but they must never endorse it in any way.  Light and darkness cannot dwell in the same place.  When the light appears the darkness disappears.  I highly suggest the writer of the critical email spend more time in the light rather than to waste any time defending darkness.  One who truly receives the Light of Life will know the darkness when he sees it.
