3500 years ago is when God began to reveal Himself to His chosen people through the prophets detailed in the 1600 year record of His Word to mankind.
That old covenant is filled with "christophanies" (appearances of Christ on earth long before he was ever revealed to us in the flesh of a man) It is also chock full of prophecies of the coming Messiah.
Then 2000 years ago, and 700 years before Mohammed, heralded the coming of that Messiah. The fulfillment of the Old Testament Messanic prophecies my friend.
