Converts to Islam

Sahih Muslim, Book 32, Number 6436:
Narrated Aisha:

      'A'isha, the mother of the believers, said that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was called to lead the funeral prayer of a child of the Ansar. I said: Allah's Messenger, there is happiness for this child who is a bird from the birds of paradise for it committed no sin nor has he reached the age when one can commit sin. He said: 'A'isha, per adventure, it may be otherwise, because God created for paradise those who are fit for it while they were yet in their father's loins and created for Hell those who are to go to Hell. He created them for Hell while they were yet in their father's loins.  (Book #033, Hadith #6436)

Mohammed's sadistic "Allah" predestines hell dwellers for his torturing pleasure before they are ever born.
No "conversion" can change predestination.

For believers a chicken in every pot. For those he predestined for hell while they were in their mother's womb, they will be in a fierce blast of fire and boiling water(56:42) in shades of black smoke(43) with nothing to refresh.(44) Filling their insides with the tree of zaqqum(52) (which must not be a good thing), and washing it down with boiling water,(54) drinking with the gusto of a raging diseased camel.(55) And that's just for "entertainment"!(56)

This thread is posted to for examples of those that have converted to Islam. Perhaps the most significant thing that can be observed is that generally those that convert to Islam would seem to do so through the flesh, while those that convert to Christianity would seem to do so through the Spirit, as their respective testimonies in these YouTubes attest.

It's interesting to note, however, that 75% of Muslim so-called "converts" in the U.S. leave Islam within a few years, according to this Islamic scholar.

[edit addition 12-11-10 - to clarify, when I compared the two and suggested that converts to Islam seem to do so through the flesh, what I meant is that in their videos they generally indicate that they somehow figured their way to God, or used logic to find God, in spite of the illogical nature of such an idea. That is in light of the Quran's historical blunders, scientific nonsense, absence of historicity, recycled Arabian and Hebrew fables, and stories such as Mohammed's completely unwitnessed claim to have ridden around on a flying horse-like creature.

Also when I mentioned converts from "christianity to Islam", technically there is not such thing. Only those that had deceived themselves into believing they had been Christian, or falsely believe they were Christian from birth, or the became Christian through infant baptism. Here's how we can be confident there is no such thing as a true Christian convert to Islam
