Questioning the misguided notion that talking in, what they call tongues, is the only assurance that a person is saved cannot be tolerated.
When I have asked "oneness" type Pentecostals about "trying" the spirits" in their churches, they respond by copy and pasting the verse regarding blaspheming the Holy Ghost.
In other words, to question their extra-scriptural pop-doctrine = blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.
This knee-jerk tactic of attempting to instill fear isn't unusual for cult indoctrination.
As a result it would not be a surprise that desperately seeking these spirits as mandatory, would result in difficulty with unclean spirits.
