The Curse of Ham
« on: February 09, 2011, 01:10:45 PM »
Recently I pasted some of Craig Winn's text, regarding Yahweh telling the Israelites to wipe out the Canaanites to the last. Yahweh had given the Canaanites 400 years to repent but they refused to do so. As Mr. Winn rightly pointed out, would it have been better to kill thousands back then, or for their numbers to grow into millions of people subverted by Satan, later on.

Unfortunately the Israelites disobeyed God, and rather than killing them all, took some Canaanites as slaves.
Folks that walk in the flesh are shocked that a just God would order up the killing of even babies, but those of us walking in the Spirit, know that every innocent person (where there's no law there's no transgression) who has ever been killed is with the Lord. The only thing they would have missed is a brief stint in this world, living among unregenerates, in one of Satan's worldly kingdoms. Indeed had those innocents grown they would have in all likelihood succumbed to the same unrepentant path, as the society they were in followed.

Phl 1:21 For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.

That's why this is particularly hard for the seed of Ishmael to understand since they are the children of the flesh.

Romans 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, [are they] all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

This morning it struck me to investigate the relationship between the Canaanites and Islam, wondering that if the Israelites had done as God instructed, whether we might have been spared the violent scourge of Mohammedanism all around the world. As was also evidenced by the pillage, plunder, sexual abuse and subjugation, of imperialistic conquest of nearly the whole known world, during the first Islamic jihad, all the way up to Tours France and Vienna Austria.

In searching cannanite with islam I came across an article on the "curse of Ham".

That reminded me of Dr. Rafat Amari's contention that Mohammed, being from Yemen, was likely a Hamite whose ancestors came across the strait from Ethiopia.

"We already have discussed that, according to Genesis 10:6,7,  Raamah was the father of Sheba, from whom came the Saba tribe of Yemen. Raamah was the fourth son of Cush, and a grandson of Ham. Raamah was mentioned in the inscriptions of Saba. The Bible connects Raamah with Sheba, which is called Saba. In the Bible, a nation is often named after the father of the founder: for example, Israel is also called Jacob, or Isaac. According to the last verse we read in Ezekiel, the imports Tyre received from Yemen consisted "of choicest spices, precious stones and gold." We know this is true from other historical evidence, as well."

Then that reminded me of Islam's racism that I posted the other day that included this quote:
Ahmad ibn Abi Sulayman, the companion of Sahnun said, “Anyone who says that the Prophet was black should be killed. Ibn Musa al-Yahsubi, Qadi ‘Iyad, p.375

Which I suppose could indicate that Mohammed may have been rather dark skinned, but that is neither here nor there. Though at least some of Mohammed's followers aren't colorblind today.

"Eyewitness accounts detailing the militia attacks are horrifying. "They killed my 3-year-old son right in front of my eyes," one father from West Darfur said. Since last fall, women have reported more than 500 rapes. Three women said five militiamen beat and raped them last August. The women said, "After they abused us, they told us that now we would have Arab babies. And, if they would find any [more] women, they would rape them again to change the color of their children.""

Arabs from northern Arabia and up into the fertile crescent absorbed the Ishmaelites, and thus most Arabs whose ancestors are from that area, may well have a little of his blood flowing through their veins. They certainly behave just as the seed of Ishmael were prophesied to.

Gen 16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand [will be] against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Their hand against every man including each other, Sunnis and Shiites terrorizing and targeting for murder each others innocent men, women and children, purely because of their doctrinal differences.

However the genetic origins is a different story for those that lived in Yemen like Muhammad's tribe the Quraish - at least back before wells were dug and towns built around them to support the first caravan route, that wasn't established along the Red Sea in Arabia until about the 6th century BC.

So perhaps if the Canaanites had been wiped out, there would have been no Canaanites in Yemen, and thus no Muhammad, and thus no Islam. But if things had gone differently, then the prophecies of Islam and the Islamic empire, or leopard-bear-lion "beast" of Revelation 13, would have been wrong. So things are going along just as they were prophesied for this, what Daniel referred to as, the "time of the end".

I guess the question is could the "curse of Ham" have something to do with Islam? Could Islam be the curse?

Gen 9:20 And Noah began [to be] an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:   21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.   22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.   23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid [it] upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces [were] backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.   24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.   25 And he said, Cursed [be] Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.   26 And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

As an aside, Muslims have fun declaring Moses was a drunk according to scripture, but since this is the first reference to "wine" in scripture, it got me to wondering how Moses could have been expected to know, that the grape juice that had apparently fermented, would get him drunk?
It isn't like he went down to the local store and bought a wine making book and some yeast.
