Who is THE false prophet of the book of Revelation?
« on: March 03, 2011, 05:51:53 AM »
This is the most interesting question one can ask of a futurist or preterist.

Who is THE false prophet of the book of Revelation?

This is a good way to cut to the chase, with 1.5 billion people in the world - 1/4 of mankind - following the false prophet Muhammad. I believe it can quickly convict futurists and preterists in regard to their false doctrines.

Seems that perhaps sometimes they become just too embarrassed to answer.

Hello, brotherjw

We just created a new promo video and are looking for input. Our goal is to introduce the basics of Christian Apologetics while at the same time giving people an idea of what NewApologia is about.

We would love your feedback.

God Bless,

As of this writing on 3-3-11 still no response.

When you bump into a preterist why not ask this question of them. They will generally respond by invoking some indistinct answer like "the apostate Jews" or some such, but I don't believe the definition of "prophet" in the Koine Greek allows for a metaphorical spiritualizing away of convenience, to conform it to a doctrine, since it always refers to an individual.
