Islamic claims to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem
« on: March 07, 2011, 10:01:34 AM »
Mention was recently made to me of "Al-Durra" and so I Googled it and started with this Wikipedia article that included http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_al-Durrah_incident#Political_background

"On September 28, 2000, two days before the shooting, the Israeli opposition leader Ariel Sharon visited the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. The Temple Mount contains the holiest site in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam, making its rules of access hotly contested. Sharon's visit was seen as provocative—the trigger for the violence that followed according to the Palestinians, or the pretext according to the Israelis[8]—and protests escalated into widespread violence across the West Bank and Gaza Strip.[9] The uprising became known as the Second, or Al-Aqsa, Intifada, named after the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Temple Mount. It lasted over four years and cost 4,000 lives, around 3,000 of them Palestinian.[10]"

To my knowledge, the only reference to the Temple Mount mentioned by Muhammad, is his mythical account of having ridden on a flying donkey-mule from Mecca, to the temple in Jerusalem, then a leg up to "paradise", followed by a return to Mecca by morning. This included claims of tying his flying steed up to a "ring that the prophets had used", and going into the temple to pray. Unfortunately for his tall tale, the temple had been torn down over 500 years prior, to Muhammad's claims of having prayed in it.

Another indictment against Muhammadan claims to Jerusalem in general is the fact that Muhammad switched the Qibla, or direction that Muslims are to pray, from Jerusalem to Mecca, after the Hijra. This effectively not only nullifies their claim to Jerusalem, but also serves to further isolate Muhammad's stand-alone 7th century religion, and his alter-ego "Allah", from Christians and Jews and our God Yahweh.

Is anyone aware of anything else mentioned by Muhammad that would constitute an - Islam religion based - claim to the temple mount? Later on, of course, the Dome of the Rock was built to commemorate the rock, where it is fabled that Muhammad launched his flying donkey-mule from on his leg to "paradise", but this abomination wasn't founded until late in the 7th century, a half-century after Muhammad's death.

I cannot recall the terminology right off hand but within Islamic orthodoxy any land that has ever been under the control of Islamic authorities and specifically the Caliphate is considered Islamic property in perpetuity and muslims are obligated to keep it so. Consequently, there has been renewed attempts over the years to incite muslims to regain control of those parts of Spain and other sections of Europe lost after the Battle of Tours and the successive  battles that backed up their empire. The newest strategy employed is to flood these countries with immigrants and usurp them from within using the laws to weaken their resistance. I think the biggest reason Jerusalem and Israel is so hotly contested is because of who it actually belongs to and Satan has done everything in his power to eradicate the Jews since God chose them. Dr. Michael Brown talks about the unique persecution that the Jewish people have suffered over the millenia and the satanic power that has driven it.
Doth that man love his Lord who would be willing to see Jesus wearing a crown of thorns, while for himself he craves a chaplet of laurel? Shall Jesus ascend to his throne by the cross, and do we expect to be carried there on the shoulders of applauding crowds? Charles H. Spurgeon

Regain control for openers. Then they are obliged to "convert" all of the countries of their borders, which of course, is what drove them to wind up conquering such distant lands in the first place.

The portion most relevant to the thread is at the end of the audio track... it starts to get interesting around 3:00 into the track

Kerry is a shill for the Muslim Brotherhood, out for the destruction of Israel.

"John Kerry reporting for duty ... to the Muslim Brotherhood

As the Investigative Project on Terrorism reports, Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee and key Obama administration congressional ally, “welcomed the results of Egypt’s first democratic elections,” in which “voters gave the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) nearly 40% of seats, and more than 24% went to the ultra-conservative Salafi coalition led by al-Nour Party.” [ACM: by ultraconservative, IPT means al-Nour is somewhat more impatient than the Brotherhood for the imposition of supremacist Islam; as I've explained on other occasions, the Muslim Brotherhood is Salafist in its ideology.]

In addition to praising the Brotherhood’s election as a model of transparency and integrity, Sen. Kerry also called for an infusion of cash from the International Monetary Fund to undergird Egypt’s new Islamist government."

Wouldn't be a surprise to find his 2004 presidential bid was financed in part by the terrorist organization the KLA

"The KLA has been credibly linked to the notorious terrorist Osama bin Laden. In 1999 The Washington Times obtained intelligence documents that showed what is described as a 'link' between bin Laden, and the KLA --including a common staging area in Tropoje, Albania, a center for Islamic terrorists. The reports said bin Laden's al-Qaeda organization has both trained and financially supported the KLA. [4]"

"John Kerry and the KLA

The leader of the KLA is a man named Hashim Thaci. Thaci, who goes under the nom de guerre "Snake," attended the Democratic Party’s convention in Boston earlier this year.

Upon returning from the convention, Thaci told the Albanian-Language KosovaLive agency, "It was a very successful visit at the Democratic Convention, where the PDK [Thachi's political party] had been invited as a guest. It was confirmed once again that the Democratic authorities would recognize and respect the will of the people of Kosova for self-determination" [18]

In addition to the KLA leader's attendance at the Democratic Convention was the presence of KLA members at a John Kerry fundraiser in New York.

In September, the Dutch Television station VPRO produced a documentary entitled "De Brooklyn Connectie." This documentary follows a KLA terrorist named Florin Kraniqi as he attends a John Kerry fundraiser, and then smuggles weapons into Kosovo for a war that is being planned against American and other UN Peacekeepers there.

The video can be downloaded from the VPRO website at:

http://www.vpro.nl/programma/tegenlicht/afleveringen/18793157/

Kraniqi lives in Brooklyn, where he allegedly works as a roofer; although his big house, his shiny new car, and his swimming pool, suggest that he makes money in other ways.

The first few minutes of the video consist of Kraniqi praising the KLA and accusing the Serbs.

At the 11:08 mark of the video, he goes to a John Kerry fundraiser together with a group of KLA members. They are shown writing checks to the Kerry campaign for thousands of dollars each.

While at the fundraiser, they openly identify themselves as the KLA. Kraniqi is seen introducing himself and his brothers-in-arms to Wesley Clark (Commander of the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, and former Democratic presidential candidate). Kraniqi says, "Mr. Clark. This is your group, your KLA." Clark then praises the group saying, "They fought against tremendous odds."

Then, Richard Holbrooke (Kerry's Sr. Foreign Policy Adviser), who apparently knows one of the terrorists, comes over and jokingly says, "He almost got me killed." To which Kraniqi quips, "He would not let his Kalashnikov go. He will keep his Kalashnikov." Then Holbrooke, Clark, and this group of KLA terrorists all have a good laugh.

It is rather disturbing to see these high officials in the Democratic Party having such a relaxed and friendly exchange with a group of terrorists, eventhough they have just given thousands of dollars to John Kerry’s campaign.

Kraniqi makes clear that he expects a quid-pro-quo for his donation. He says, "With money you can do amazing things in this country. Senators and congressmen are looking for donations. If you fund them and raise the money they need for their campaign they pay you back."

At the 29:03 mark of the video, Kraniqi visits a gun store and purchases weapons to use in Kosovo. From this point forward you get to see how the KLA smuggles weapons into Kosovo, disguising them as humanitarian aid and so forth."

"A militant from a group some have connected to al-Qaida and that many have claimed is financed in part by the international drug trade and prostitution rings, recently attended a John Kerry fund-raiser, where he wrote a check and later boasted about his getting “paid back” in future favors from the presidential candidate."
