Perhaps a short description of this "connection" would help us understand why you put this in the antichrist thread, for those of us that don't have the patience for an 11 part video.
Particularly when his initial premise is "...controlling them both (Roman Catholicism and Islam) is a central organization that is seated where....? Well the bible says that it is seated in Rome, and nowhere else. The bible says that the beast is Roman. It comes our of the Roman Empire, and Islam does not come out of the Roman Empire. The controlling force in the bible is Rome."

When what he actually means is, that according to the presumptions that he chooses to draw and believe, regarding his preferred interpretation of the figurative language of John's vision in Revelation, his opinion is....

Because the bible simply doesn't say what he claims the bible says.

We have a whole section devoted to the Roman Church that includes parallels between Roman Catholicism and Islam.
http://islamchristianforum.com/index.php?topic=512.0
I also recently had the opportunity to chat with a Historicist that was trying to make the case that the papacy is antichrist.
http://islamchristianforum.com/index.php?topic=2491.0

If you find a more appropriate thread or section for your post, you can request that I split off your post here and merge it with another topic. As it develops I will do the same if it looks like it fits better elsewhere.

For example, if your eschatology is continuous historic, and you believe that the Roman Church is antichrist, and is the beast, and is the man of sin, then it belongs in the historicist section. We realize some of these terms may be new to you but they are explained in each section and we can help you sort it out.

Hi CodeRed,

Welcome to the forum. As is usually the case we don't all agree on all points 100% when it comes to eschatology. And I am sure there are parts of the video you posted that you agree with and parts you do not. Could you please enumerate the points you agree with and why and we can discuss things from there.

God bless
Doth that man love his Lord who would be willing to see Jesus wearing a crown of thorns, while for himself he craves a chaplet of laurel? Shall Jesus ascend to his throne by the cross, and do we expect to be carried there on the shoulders of applauding crowds? Charles H. Spurgeon

I found a little time this morning and watched the video and really enjoyed it. He took me on a nice tour of places and I learned a few things. I think a more descriptive title might be "Islam, Freemasonry & Roman Church Connections to Baal and Isis"

I'll detail a few of the subjects in each video for easier reference if someone wants to review a point they heard the first time around.

1/11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nvj_Rp-UuKo
In the first video he suggests that Rome is central, but as the video developed it seemed the point he actually made is that Baal and Isis are central. Perhaps he is too Roman church focused since he is an ex-catholic.
Since the "great whore" of Revelation is likely a broader topic than the Roman Church, such as the whole of false religions over mankind's history, one has to wonder if Isis helps us see the role of that "whore" a little more specifically.
Not sure that the source he quoted regarding Khadija and Waraqa being Roman Catholics is reliable (suggesting Muhammad's cousing Waraqa was a nun, when Waraqa was a man - Muhammad's wife Khadija's cousin - that was a co-founder of the Meccan sect of the 2nd century occult cult of the Sabians that they named Ahnaf.).
http://islamchristianforum.com/index.php?topic=2475.0
If he was quoting Alberto Rivera that would explain the error.
http://islamchristianforum.com/index.php?topic=1870.0
He brings up a quote by an interesting character

Once he left his exegesis of Revelation, after the first video, and instead focused on parallels in symbols and origins and such, he did a much better job and I learned a a few things.

video 2/11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsiVQ0sBplI
pilgrimage to Fatima (which Muslims share with Roman Catholics)
crescent moon star sun worship
the name Allah along with Lat Uzza and Manat corresponding to Baal
also leading star
horns cradling sun and crescent moon cradling sun
birth of sun Isis-Osiris - male female
Babalonian crescent moon sun symbols in Catholicism
Mary repeatedly pictured in cave - Muhammad received revelations in cave - pope visits cave and worships in cave (see Sabian thread for more on revelation in caves.)
crescent moon with pentagram
"Morals and Dogma"
Videographer claims Rome seat of ancient occult

3/11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AaxuzCZwKM
He keeps talking Islam/Roman Catholicism, but seems to discount Baal and Isis as the foundational elements between the Roman Church and Islam behind the sun moon symbols.
Hittites crescent moon-sun symbol, also United Nations
Mosques and Roman church symbols of sun - solar blazes
burka similar to nun dress
Mentions prayer beads (but not the subject which is the repetitive prayers of the heathen)
(He mentions priesthood just for men, but this is Christian, not restricted to Roman Catholic, as women are not to be in positions of authority over men in the ecclesia.)
Islamic all seeing eye also in Catholicism and Freemasonry represents Osiris - also a symbol for Indian Shiva the destroyer (Satan) through Baal.
Knowledge of inner circle argument.

4/11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AABpWXmNgW0
Hermes
Luxor Temple is profane pagan site. Has mosque built right IN it.
Temple of Baal has Roman Church built in it.
Cathedral built like ship.
8 pointed star in Islam & Roman Church (particularly to Mary)
He does seem to discredit Alberto Ribera regarding Vatican starting Islam.
Talks about eastern Roman and Orthodox split.
mentions Malachi Martin on John Paul http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malachi_Martin

5/11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3t7kVMcvFvQ
Visigoths (Spain)
geography of conquests and control
Roman Christianity then overtaken by Islam
Templars and Islamists
Assassins (suicide killers)

Mary ascension
"...enmity between me and thee..." in Douay Rhems
Catholic Jesuit version of woman and dragon in Revelation is Mary

Mary in Islam and Roman Church
Fatima
Quran believes Mary immaculate conception
Mother Theresa "No Mary no Jesus"
Gnostics 8 heavens etc.

This is an important parallel between Freemasonry and Islam.
Quran satanic verses review
Revitalize humanism
ecumenical
spiritualists and spiritualism OK - though Satanic in Christianity
Next to angels come Genii. In Freemasonry are formed by fire, and genii are not bad, even though Satan is their head
Islam = jinn (I have had Muslims tell me that not all jinn are bad.)
Spiritualists and Quran teach against crucifixion - satanic occult teaching (Simonianism)
Roman Catholic theologians influenced by Jesuits deny that Jesus died like Quran does

10/11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-XH6hIllYg
Islam's Allah a god of war and retribution
Speaks to men and women in Christianity & Islam
Freedom in Christ Jesus
Love is the character of the one true God.
Jewish Haggada and apocryphal gospels - Rome and Jewish Cabala in charge of these books and Talmud
Shocking Billy Graham (Mason?) quote (at least Franklin fell a little further away from that tree)
Schuller also ecumenical praise of Islam
Truth labeled extremism
Ditto Behmamin Chavis former Vice president NCC Islamic convert ditto "no difference"

11/11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rt8O6GgnBs0&NR=1
Pope kissing Quran

Here's the full version intact in one video.

I believe this is an important topic. Also very complimentary to "Pagan Christianity" by Frank Viola.
It's important because it isn't that unusual for Muslims to try to draw a connection between Freemasonry and Christianity, as well as Isis and Christianity, when in actuality Islam owns both Freemasonry and Isis, complete with solar blazes, and crescent moons adorning their mosques and national flags.

I am going to split it off onto it's own topic and move it into the Roman Church section, particularly since it didn't have much to do with antichrist, except that it briefly pointed out that Islam is antichrist.
It needs to be retitled. Something like I mentioned at the beginning of the last post OK with you, Code?

Alluding to the ancient roots of their symbol but trying to gain some distance from it.
