Sorry for the new forum look but smf required a major upgrade to their recently released version 2.0.1 (actually released in June but I have been scared to death to upgrade, so I kept putting it off!)
I don't much care for the garish orange category titles, or round corners, but at least the very scary install went without a hitch, thanks to the kind folks at smf who author the software. The old "Babylon" theme look is no longer available.
Who knows. Maybe it will end the disappearing post problem that was ever increasing before. I had to reconstruct many posts - both original and successive - from the database, as they were present in the database, but appeared as blank in the forum.
Please let me know when/if you happen upon blank threads or posts.
EDIT Sigh. Just went to an area of the forum that had some blank posts in the past and found
