Discussion of all views are certainly allowed in this forum. Ellis Skolfield's teaching featured here is amillennial. That Christ came in His kingdom in the 1st century and He rules and reigns in His/our kingdom today.
I'll attach this to the thread you started regarding the millennium and perhaps attach the whole thing to a relevant thread. Like here:

I used to be premillenial dispensationist...

I was always bothered that I could figure out why nor could any body tell me or even give me a good answer that didn't stretch belief. Then I met Ellis about 20 years ago. he is the first person that could actually explain to me why he believed the way he did and back it up with scripture that made sense. definitely amillenial since then.

Once you know truth, you can't un-know it.

Amen and may God continue to richly bless you and lead us ALL in all truth. Welcome to the forum bro! :)
So were you a "Hidden Beast" aficionado? It must be really exciting to have seen it all coming to pass over the last 20 years! I only met Ellis less than a decade ago.

Actually, I had significant spiritual failure in my life. I was searching for answers and joined the Christian forum on CompuServe back in the early 90's. posters there introduced me to Ellis and the rest is history. I was able to travel to Florida in '94 to meet Ellis and his wife.

20 years later, I never cease to marvel at how at Ellis' urging, I began to study Daniel and Revelation and instead of finding conspiracy and fear, found only the magnificence of Christ. My study of the prophets, both major and minor, has been a wonderful journey learning about God's plan for redemption from the very beginning. The realization that "It is ALL about Christ" has been the foundation of my faith ever since.

I just posted a thread in another forum regarding something that struck me the other day. It is pure speculation and not anything I can prove by scripture, but I thought interesting to contemplate. I will post it in a minute.

Seems like meeting Ellis can be a life changing event for some people regardless of whether one is a believer or not. I read the original Hidden Beast back in the late 80's before I was a Christian.  I doubt if you will find anyone that tried harder then I did to prove him wrong, the harder I tried the more convicted I became. I was fortunate enough to meet Ellis a few months later at a Q&A seesion about the book and the rest is history. Have you read Sunset of the Western Church or Demons in the Church?
Rom 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;.....

I asked the Lord to show me what prophecy meant so that I could understand it.  Since I read his (Ellis') books, it started to come into focus.  That was the early days.  Today, I have a real deep understanding of where we are and what things mean.  However, there is always room for improvement! :P ;)

Bistabuster, I had long sensed that the futurist view and pre-trib rapture theory wasn't quite right, but until I read Ellis' work, I wasn't sure what the prophecies meant. I was more partial preterist for a while, then decided it didn't really matter, since what was gonna happen was gonna happen. But now my understanding is more clear than ever, and while the prospect of our nation falling and what it means for me and my family is scary, God is still in control. There are still many believers who simply cannot see that persecution is coming here at the hands of our government and Islam. It may be that they are afraid to look at this prospect, so pre-trib rapture belief is a much safer place to be. It's like someone facing a problem, and thinking that by ignoring it, it will go away.
