In another forum a Muslim claimed:

"Inscribed on the hilt of the Prophet’s sword, ‘Forgive him who wrongs you; join him who cuts you off; do good to him who does evil to you, and speak the truth although it be against yourself."

Is that hilarious or what? Besides being thinly veiled plagiarism I haven't been able to find the source of this alleged inscription, though I find no shortage of Muslims that repeat the fable.

What was Muhammad supposed to have done? Shown his sword to those he was vanquishing through his imperialistic aggression and conquest, before running them through with it?!!

"Do good to him..." after you chop off his fingers, hands, or head... your choice.

The Prophet Muhammad (may ALLAH bestow peace and blessing upon him) had many swords not one and it is not inscribed on any of them
It may interest you to read up on the swords since you so fixated on violence.
