Obama broke a law he signed into law last December. He is a felon for providing material support for terrorists and terrorism. Besides which, how is releasing a war criminal responsible for the razing of villages and murder of thousands of people, not the same as if we had set Nazi war criminals free rather than prosecuting them, after WWII? How isn't it just the same as if we had freed Adolf Eichmann.

"Former Republican Rep. Allen West two days ago called for President Obama’s impeachment over his decision to swap five known terror leaders for a soldier whose behavior is under investigation, arguing Obama apparently violated U.S. law forbidding material aid to terror groups.

Nevertheless, Obama defended his decision Thursday, saying he offered no apologies for releasing five Guantanamo detainees – who had been determined to be too dangerous to be freed – in exchange for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who has been accused of desertion.

West, in a promotion for his political action committee, took aim at Obama’s unapologetic stance.

“Obama and his aides have lost their minds,” he said in an email for the Allen West Guardian Fund.

West’s outrage reverberated throughout his comments.

“One of his aides was quoted as saying the administration believed it had won another ‘kill bin Laden moment’ that would earn them praise,” West said, “Praise?!! Even Sen. John McCain, a prisoner of war in Vietnam, called the released terrorists the ‘hardest and toughest of all’ and ‘wanted war criminals.’

“One is suspected of war crimes including the murders of thousands and another was ‘directly associated’ with Osama bin Laden and was an Afghan drug lord,” West said."

This is not the first time he has done this.  Unfortunately, I don't think anyone with any significant clout within our government has the backbone to do what should be done.

Along with a historic view of prophecy and the significance of the years 1948 and 1967, I offer the following as evidence as to why our country is reaping a whirlwind:

1947 - Supreme Court issues landmark decision that warps the interpretation of the Establishment Clause.  The phrase "separation of church and state" is coined and used -to this day- to prevent the knowledge of God from entering schools

1948 - An atheist successfully sues to remove voluntary religious instruction and prayer time from schools.  The suit is backed by Unitarian, Baptist, Jewish, and Seventh Day Adventist national organizations.  The case is upheld by the Supreme Court

1967 - Divorce rate begins to climb from 25% to nearly 50% today

1967 - Supreme Court issues constitutional decision that schools must allow evolution to be taught.  In reaction, some schools began teaching creation science.  Eventually, creation science classes were deemed unconstitutional.

1972 - Supreme court issues decision that legalizes the murder of unborn children

And of course today the teaching of at least one religion in our schools, through pro-Islam propagandized text books.

"Taliban Commanders Threaten More Kidnappings After Bergdahl

Concerns that the US's deal to swap five Taliban terrorists held in Guantanamo Bay for captive soldier Bowe Bergdahl have actualized Sunday, after two separate top-ranking Taliban officials told TIME magazine that the deal sets a precedent for more kidnappings.

“Our talks finally proved successful for the prisoners’ swap,” the commander said. “We returned our valued guest to his people and in return, they freed our five heroes held in Guantánamo Bay since 2002.”

“Besides our field commanders and fighters, our leader Mullah Mohammad Omar is so happy and is anxiously waiting to see his heroes,” he added. “I cannot explain how our people are happy and excited over this unbelievable achievement [. . .] this is a historic moment for us. Today our enemy for the first time officially recognized our status.”

“It’s better to kidnap one person like Bergdahl than kidnapping hundreds of useless people,” another commander said. “It has encouraged our people. Now everybody will work hard to capture such an important bird.”

The US State Department announced the prisoner exchange earlier this month, sparking a rare videotaped response from Taliban leader Omar calling the swap "a victory for our people."

The five Afghani Taliban prisoners are widely thought to be the most senior terrorists held by the US at Guantamano Bay, and concerns have been raised that their return could facilitate a major rise in terrorism in the volatile region.

The five include Khairullah Khairkhwa, a governor of Afghanistan's Herat province alleged to have direct links to Osama Bin Laden; Noorullah Noor, senior Taliban military commander implicated in mass murder against Shia Muslims; Mohammad Fazl, also implicated in war crimes against Shia Muslims and the Taliban's deputy defense minister during the 2001 war with the US; Mohammad Nabi Omari, senior military and security commander; and Abdul Haq Wasiq, deputy chief of the Taliban's intelligence service, who was said to be a key player in the Taliban's alliances with other Islamist groups to fight the US. "

"On Saturday, US officials announced the exchange, which saw the five terrorists transferred to Qatar in exchange for US Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, 28. Bergdahl, who went missing in 2009, is thought to be the only US soldier to have been in Taliban captivity.
The Afghan government stated Sunday that they had not been informed of the exchange beforehand, and strongly condemned the move as a breach of international law.
"Handing over prisoners to a third country is a breach of international law," Afghanistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated Sunday. "We are strongly opposed to it. We want Qatar and the US government to let the men go free.""
