Son of Nazi Collaborator to Open "Jewish" Anti-Israel PAC
Long after WW2, George Soros still isn't done persecuting Jews.
We're not talking about J Street, though this is also a Soros project.
George Soros, the radical extremist who had referred to his time as a Nazi collaborator as "the most exciting time of my life", is known for funding a variety of front groups, including some targeting Jews.
While Soros' name is closely associated with J Street, the anti-Israel lobby, earlier ventures focused on a group known as Jewish Funds for Justice, which changed its name to Bend the Arc.
Bend the Arc is currently headed by Stosh "Stacy" Cotler, an anti-Israel protester, who apparently began her work as a dancer in a sex club.
In 2001, she protested a Portland appearance by former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. The next year, Portland’s Willamette Week described her staging a mock Israeli checkpoint in a downtown intersection.
“You are now at an Israeli checkpoint. If you protest, you will be killed. Expect to be blindfolded and beaten,†she shouted through a mega-phone, according to the paper.
At the time, she was, according to the Socialist Worker, claiming that, "Many Jews have confused their own liberation with the systematic oppression of Palestinians. How many American Jews of good conscience support this atrocity?"
An article in the Saudi lobby's Washington Report states that Cotler was working with Women in Black. She appears as a signatory on a Not In My Name petition calling for war crimes charges against Israeli soldiers.
Suffice it to say, Stosh Cotler really hates Israel. Now Bend The Arc is getting its own PAC courtesy of Soros' son.
The son of Democratic mega-donor George Soros is gearing up to play a more active role in the 2016 election with the launch of new political action committee focused on representing the views of Jewish Americans — beyond foreign policy.
Alex Soros, 29, who has steadily increased his political and philanthropic giving in recent years, has helped establish Bend the Arc PAC, the first ever national Jewish political action committee in America focused entirely on domestic issues. Bend the Arc, a non-profit, has an advocacy arm chaired by the younger Soros but has not previously had a political action committee.
Bend the Arc PAC will back progressive candidates by making direct contributions to their campaign committees.
