The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is leading the fight for the “right” for universities who receive government funds to promote anti-Semitism.

CAIR’s fight is against the announcement by President Trump last week to expand Title VI of the Civil Rights Act to include protection against discrimination based on religion.

Title VI currently prohibits institutions from receiving federal funds if they discriminate on the basis of race, color or national origin.

The expansion of Title VI comes at a time when Jewish students on U.S. college campuses are facing widespread anti-Semitism — and violence, at times — due to extreme actions being taken by supporters of the BDS (Boycott, Divest and Sanction) movement against the state of Israel.

According to the definition of anti-Semitism adopted by the U.S. State Department and 31 other countries, the BDS movement is anti-Semitic because it holds Israel to a different standard than that required of other countries.

CAIR promotes anti-Semitism by being huge supporters of the BDS movement. Linda Sarsour, Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are also outspoken proponents of the BDS movement .

In announcing their opposition to the executive order, CAIR disingenuously framed the issue as a violation of the First Amendment right to free speech. They called the executive order an attempt “to suppress academic freedom.”

Ironically, CAIR just recently called on Amazon, Audible and Kindle, Amazon, Google Play Books, AudioBooks, and Barnes and Noble “to remove all white supremacist and pro-confederate digital audio books and related social media ads.”

CAIR obviously has no problem stifling “First Amendments rights” in these above cases since they fit the organization’s Islamist agenda.

In April, CAIR voiced its opposition to the proposed “Anti-Semitism Awareness Act of 2019” in Congress.

The act directs the Department of Education to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of anti-Semitism, which has been officially adopted by the U.S. State Department and 31 other nations, including the UK, Germany and other European nations.

The definition addresses traditional and current forms of anti-Semitism, specifically labeling as anti-Semitism anything that “[applies] double standards by requiring of [Israel] a behavior not expected or demanded of by any other democratic nation [in the world].”

Accordingly, the Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement is by definition anti-Semitic, since there are at least 100 land disputes across the globe that are not subject to “BDS” movements.

CAIR’s leaders are heavily invested in supporting the BDS movement, particularly across college campuses in the U.S. The BDS movement aims to strangle the Jewish state economically while at the same time calls for the flooding of Palestinians into Israel to destroy the Jewish character of the state.

While the BDS movement purports to be about Palestinian rights, voices in support of BDS have been deafeningly silent about the horrific abuse of Palestinians who moved decades ago to Jordan, Syria and Lebanon during the Arab states’ war with Israel in 1948.

On a state level, CAIR has been busy bringing law suits against individual states who have passed anti-BDS legislation.

Trump’s announcement of the executive order came on the same day as a deadly anti-Semitic attack that left four victims dead in New Jersey.

Since then, a synagogue in Los Angeles was vanadalized over the weekend by what police believe was a “lone male suspect.”  Although the police are investigating the incident as a hate crime, they said they found “no overt sign of anti-Semitism.”

(It is likely that the LAPD would also find no “no overt sign of anti-Semitism” in CAIR’s opposition to an executive order which forbids discrimination of Jews.)

Meanwhile, it is also likely that Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) will join with CAIR in advocating for the right to receive government funding while promoting anti-Semitism.

AOC recently shared a video promoting British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn ahead of last week’s UK elections. Corbyn and his party have been engaged in virulent and shameless anti-Semitism for years.  They were soundly defeated in the election by a landslide, with many districts voting against Labour for the first time since 1935.

In fact, the election was, to a large part, a referendum against Corbyn’s overt promotion of anti-Semitism.

“This video is about the UK, but it might as well have been produced about the United States,” says AOC who urged British voters to vote for the Labour party.

Have Ilhan Omar & CAIR Bred Acceptance of Today’s Rampant Anti-Semitism?

Have Ilhan Omar & CAIR Bred Acceptance of Today’s Rampant Anti-Semitism?

The ongoing horror over the rhetoric of America’s new Muslim congresswomen has turned to questions over whether Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, along with other prominent Islamists, have contributed to the acceptance of the rampant anti-Semitism being displayed in the U.S. today.

In addition, did the  failure by Democrats in the House to censure Omar help to create a breeding ground for extremists on both sides of the political spectrum to take it to the next step — physical violence, which is what we are seeing now?

2019 has seen shocking upticks in attacks against Jews that are increasing daily in frequency and intensity. Here are the “contributions” to today’s rampant anti-Semitism that some of the most prominent and vocal Islamists on the U.S. scene today made in 2019:

Ilhan Omar

Omar’s rampant anti-Semitism was in full force as soon as she was elected. While she was campaigning, she said she didn’t support the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement against Israel. But just days after her election, she changed her tune, saying that she did, in fact, believe in and support the BDS movement.

It was a stunning display of duplicity.

According to the definition of anti-Semitism by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) and officially adopted by the U.S. (and 31 other nations, including many in the European Union), the BDS movement has been deemed at its core an anti-Semitic movement.

This is fundamentally because the movement “[applies] double standards by requiring of [Israel] a behavior not expected or demanded of by any other democratic nation.” For example, there are at least 100 land disputes across the globe that are not subject to “BDS” movements.

Omar’s outbursts of shocking anti-Semitism dominated the conversation in 2019, as the headlines of Clarion’s articles show:

Ilhan Omar Tweets More Anti-Semitic Tropes (February 2019)

Linda Sarsour & Zahra Billoo

2019 saw big names in the U.S. Islamist scene — sharia- apologist Linda Sarsour and CAIR official Zahra Billoo — were kicked out of the Women’s March for spewing anti-Semitism.

Sarsour not only promoted the anti-Semitic BDS movement, but her rhetoric was so racist at times that she managed to label Jews as white supremacists in order to remove them from a protected class and demonize them among the “intersectional” victim crowd.

Clarion’s top stories about Linda Sarsour and her anti-Semitism in 2019 included:

Linda Sarsour Uses Latest Women’s March to Spew Anti-Semitism (January 2019)
Calling Out Anti-Semitism: the New Islamophobic Crime (March 2019)
Women’s March Kicks Out Linda Sarsour, But Replaces Her With … (September 2019)
Linda Sarsour Compares Jews to White Supremacists (December 2019)

Anti-American Islamist Zahra Billoo was set to replace Linda Sarsour as a board member in the Women’s March movement. However, due to tremendous and immediate backlash after her appointment due to Billoo’s anti-Semitism, the Women’s March rescinded their invitation in a big win in 2019.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) spent a tremendous amount of energy and resources last year promoting the anti-Semitic BDS movement. While they spoke from one side of their mouth condemning physical attacks on Jews, they were busy suing state governments over anti-BDS legislation and opposing the adoption of the IHRA’s definition of anti-Semitism by the Department of Education.

CAIR filed lawsuits in a number of states who have laws on the books against the BDS movement. They even awarded their “Muslim of the Year Award” to a woman who CAIR helped fight for the right to be anti-Semitic while working in a public school in America.

CAIR’s Muslim of the Year Award was given to Bahia Amawi, a Texas speech pathologist who lost her job in a Texas public school because she refused to comply with the state’s anti-BDS legislation.

Here were Clarion’s top stories documenting CAIR’s overt anti-Semitism in 2019:

Rashida Tlaib

Rashifa Tlaib is also a vocal supporter of the anti-Semitic BDS movement. Tlaib also made waves this year for her close connections with Hezbollah supporters. Hezbollah — an Iranian-proxy Lebanese terror group — is dedicated to killing Jews and wiping out the state of Israel

Our top stories in 2019 on Talib’s anti-Semitism included:

Rep. Rashida Tlaib Fetes Hezbollah Supporter (January 2019)
Rep. Tlaib Requests Taxpayers Fund Her Anti-Semitism (January 2019)
The Friends of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib’s Friends (January 2019)

In addition, Tlaib had the gall to request public funds to finance a Congressional delegation to the Palestinian Authority-controlled territories in Israel, essentially putting the U.S. in a situation where American tax dollars would be supporting an anti-American political body that has a history of paying terrorists – some of whom have specifically targeted and killed American citizens.

Louis Farrakhan

Louis Farrakhan wins the prize for his overt and unapologetic anti-Semitism. His hate is out there for everyone to see.

Farrakhan’s organization, the Nation of Islam, has a long history of Holocaust denial and demonizing Jews. Farrakhan regularly calls Jews “Satanic” and claims that they “control everything and mostly everybody.” He refers to Jews as the “synagogue of Satan” and “termites.”

"Machete the ‘Size of a Broomstick’: Eye Witness to Latest NY Anti-Semitic Attack

A machete described as the “size of a broomstick” was used to stab at least five Orthodox Jews in the latest NY anti-Semitic attack, leaving two in critical condition. The attack was the tenth recorded NY anti-Semitic attack since the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah began a week ago on December 22.

The attack on Saturday night in the New York suburban town of Monsey occurred on the seventh night of the eight-day holiday at 9:50 pm. One of the victims was stabbed six times.

The attacks have targeted Orthodox Jews, men and women, both of whom are easily recognizable due to their style of dress.

Police arrested a suspect in Harlem whose car was seen Saturday night in Monsey at the site of the crime, which occurred at the residence of a Rabbi Chaim Rottenberg, a Hasidic rabbi who lives adjacent to a synagogue.

“I was praying for my life,” said Aron Kohn, 65, who described the knife used by the attacker as “the size of a broomstick.”

Meanwhile police recorded multiple NY anti-Semitic attacks during Hanukkah, including:

Early Friday morning, December 27, in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, a group shouted antisemitic slurs at a 25-year-old man as one of them threw his drink at the victim.
Also early Friday morning, a woman slapped three women in the face because she thought they were Jewish. The woman was later arrested and charged with first-degree harassment.
Later in the morning, a man walked into the main synagogue in Crown Heights and threatened to shoot someone.
In the early evening on Friday also in Crown Heights, a Jewish man was followed by eight black teens who punched the victim in the head and knocked him to the ground while one of the teens filmed the incident on his phone.
On Thursday, December 26, a 34-year old mother walking through the neighborhood of Gravesend in Brooklyn with her son was attacked by a 42-year old woman. The attacker beat the woman multiple times on her head with a purse while shouting anti-Semitic slurs. The mother was able to break free and call 911. A witness followed the attacker, enabling the police to make an arrest shortly thereafter.
Also on Thursday, a  Jewish man was beaten in broad daylight on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on E. 41st Street near 3rd Avenue by an assailant who yelled, “F–k you, Jew bastard.” The suspect, 28-year-old Steven Jorge of Miami, was arrested and charged with a hate crime.
Early Wednesday morning in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, a young man was punched in the face on 13th Ave near 48th street. The suspect was part of a group of three men who fled the scene.
Early Wednesday, a 40-year-old Jewish man was punched in the chin by a stranger in Crown Heights.
On Tuesday, a 56-year-old Jewish man was punched from behind in Crown Heights.
Early Monday night, two young boys, aged six and seven, were beaten by teenagers in the lobby of a residential building in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. One of the boys was punched in the stomach.

On December 10, four people were killed in New Jersey in an anti-Semitic attack on a kosher market.

Editor’s Note: The woman who slapped the three Jewish woman was not required to post any bail due to NY’s new regulations and was let out of jail. She was re-arrested after punching another woman in the eye. It was unclear at press time of her latest attack was motivated by anti-Semitism.

ISIS Sends Message to Christians on Christmas Day

Meanwhile, ISIS was busy in other parts of the world slaughtering Christians. On Christmas day in Nigeria, ISIS terrorists beheaded 11 Christian hostages, saying in a video that the killings were revenge for the assassination of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The video also said the beheadings were a message to Christians around the world that they are all considered targets.

Since 2015, 6,000 Christians have been killed by Islamist terrorists connected to Muslim Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria. One thousand Christians were killed by the Fulanis in 2019 alone. The violence perpetrated by the Fulanis also account for 12,00 displaced Christians in Nigeria since 2015.

On Christmas Eve, the Nigerian Islamist terror group Boko Haram (which pledged allegiance to ISIS) killed seven people and kidnapped a teenage girl in a Christian village close to Chibok, where in April 2014, the group kidnapped over 200 schoolgirls."
