Hi Pete. Hi All.

Hi, Pete, thanks very much for the invite over. A little corner of heaven. ;)

I am A Son of God among many who believe. How blessed are we!

And you who are Daughter too - can't leave you out. Oh No!  :)

I was thinking of opening my own Christian forum. But as there is one here already!

This is SMF. Pete I don't know if you know about coding but I could customise this if you are looking to. To give it that special look. Not that I'm complaining mind. Just glad to be here.

I'll have a proper look around later.

God bless.

Amen and amen. May God continue to richly bless you bro, and welcome to the forum. :)
You probably noticed the thread related to the discussion we were having with our (Saudi?) Christian friend in the Topix forum:
http://www.topix.net/forum/religion/islam/TUGID757KUN0116BU/p308#c6539

I had recently been sent that video to my YouTube mailbox and it forced me to explore the issue of the Sabbath a little more. Just yesterday it gave me the opportunity to chat with a Jew, which is pretty unusual anywhere in my travels.

I spent a solid year, and more on an occasional basis, in Christian chat forums. Amazing the warnings, banning, removed posts, etc. simply because I was asking questions that rifled the administration's eschatology. And the rancor! Pre-trib rapture threads with 20,000 posts on them and such. Chasing each other in circles. Then I would post a thread with the scriptural evidence, or something with the mathematics of prophecy, and the thread would sink like a stone without reply. Simply amazing.

Never a ban or even a warning in here, though recently I did have to remove some seemly photos including the disembodied head of a child, etc. from a member. But invited him to take the written part of his post to the appropriate thread.

I don't know anything about coding which is why I love default formats!  :D
Then when it blows up, the guys that can help me may have an easier go of it. Also it might keep it less sticky for users. I recently visited one Muslim forum that is tiny yet takes forever to load, then when you spend your time composing it gives you error, etc.. Might just be the "Web Wiz" software:
http://www.whyislam.org/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=44
Besides I do like the appearance OK.
I am a major template/wizard kind of guy, like with my websites.
But I guarantee you will be handy to have around.

If there is something that can raise the internet profile, like somewhere I don't have meta tags or key words that I could put in, or something like that it would be a help.

Please feel free to invite everyone you find in your travels here too. Particularly Muslims.
The Topix chat is too much like the YouTube 500 character bits and the dark alley of personal messaging so appreciated by Muslims that like to run away from their own words, and avoid answering your points, and instead rain confusion instead.

Perhaps one of the most effective questions on that note is asking them why they would follow a common thief - let alone imagine that God would reveal Himself through one, that even recited a whole sura (8) about the disposition of property stolen from others through imperialistic conquest (including married women), that also details his 1/5 share of the "booty" - just like a Mafia Don.

Pete you can add keywords directly into the meta tag in the Templates index.template.php file which is between the head tags:

Code: [Select]
<meta name="keywords" content="Christian, christian, New Covenant, new covenant," />
You can add as wish by separating each keyword with a comma.

You can do that in cpanel, or in the Admin area of the site.

I prefer cpanel. It's what I'm used to.

Things generally slow down when flash is used or extensive use of mods.
Correct templating that uses html and css correctly shouldn't slow a site down. It's a case of making sure that the site passes with W3C.

Now. I have to admit, Islam is something pretty new to me in a number of things it teaches. Sometimes I find myself asking is it too late for some. But that is becoming judgemental and perhaps writing off what the Lord can do.

How I came to be on that topix forum is due to a topic on Religion that is in the chat area of SMF forum. I did a search on the net and found myself there. I have spent many hours on there since. We must continue to pray for each other, and for them also, indeed for all mankind.

God bless you Pete.

That's why I am afraid to do any mods. This forum works very snappy, at least on my computer. I have noticed lately that this forum is getting a little better exposure in searches anyway.

The Christian community has been blinded to islam through unsound end-time doctrine.

A really good read, based on sound hermeneutic study principles that will put this all into perspective is The False Prophet by Ellis Skolfield. For almost 30 years he has written about the central role of Islam in bible prophecy. It's free and fun to read. Try a chapter:

And you too bro. Don't be afraid to keep linking to this forum when dealing with the Muslims there. I'll check out the SMF group. I never dreamed that they had a section on religion. You got a link?

Link. It's in chat. There isn't a section on religion as such.

A topic came up on Religion. That ended up being locked.

One then startet up on Islam. So I addressed the balance and started one on Christianity.

God bless you Pete.
