Allah the mercfull

Dear Brothers & Sisters

In this topic we will be talking about the great mercies of Allah (SWT). Allah?s mercies are present everywhere around us, but unfortunately many people take them for granted, don?t notice them or can?t see them clearly. Therefore, the main purpose of this topic is to make people start noticing Allah?s mercies around them & thus approaching Him with more eagerness & much love. This will be through giving examples from several Hadiths by Allah (SWT) that show these mercies.

P.S: These will be quick & short examples of Allah?s mercifulness that will make you-literally- melt in Islam & in the love of Allah  :)

*"Al Rahman Al Rahim?

The first & most obvious example is a sentence that we always use before starting anything. It?s ?Bism Allah Al Rahman Al Rahim?. This sentence means: In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, most Merciful.

Al Rahim: (Most Merciful) is Allah?s 4th name. Allah (SWT) has 99 Rahmas (Mercies); only ONE of them is distributed among His creatures/ creation. The remaining 98 mercies are all His :o.

So can you imagine  ??? ? All the different sources, types & forms of mercies we see around us in? donia? (life) are only ONE of Allah?s 99 mercies. These ?donia? mercies include: the mother?s mercy on her children, husband & family, man?s mercy on his children, wife & family, animals? mercies; each species on its own kind (& sometimes other kinds as well)?till the end of the usual ?donia? mercies we see around us all the time.

So if all these mercies are ONE of Allah?s 99 mercies, how Merciful do think Allah (SWT) is & to what extent?

Sobhan Allaho Al Azim

*Forgiveness

Another example of Allah?s mercy; is His mercy on us-His worshippers:

There?s a Hadith by Allah (SWT) where He says that if His worshipper came to Him with sins in the number of earth dust grains, He will grant him with the number of earth dust grains ?maghfera? (foregiveness).

Meaning that, no matter how many sins you do in ?donia?, Allah (SWT) will wipe them all out if you asked him for forgiveness.

Another example of Allah?s mercy & forgiveness is that:  Allah (SWT) said that if His worshippers do not make mistakes, He will replace them by others who DO sin & make mistakes, so He can forgive them. Can you imagine :o?

Sobhan Allaho Al Azim

*Answering Doaa (Prayers)

Another example of Allah?s mercy is answering His worshippers? prayers. Allah (SWT) ORDERED us to ask Him for whatever we need, in life (donia) or in the hereafter (akhera). In fact, it?s not only that He ordered us to ask Him for stuff, but also He gets angry with us if we don?t.

Allah (SWT) addresses Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) in an Aya in Quran, telling him: ?If My worshippers asked you about me, I?m close, I answer the prayer?s doaa (request) if he asked me?.

In the above aya, Allah (SWT) meant to say ?I?m close? instead of saying, ?tell them that I?m close? to assure His worshippers that He is really & very close to them, there's no need for mediators to ask Allah for something no matter what it is; we can ask Him directly without any borders or limits & it doesn?t have to be through anyone. It?s just between us & the merciful Him  :)

Sobhan Allaho Al Azim (glory to allah)
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;

Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;

He begetteth not, nor is He begotten

And there is none like unto Him
