I am new (with questions about Arabic - English audio Bibles)

And HE has opened the way to minister to people of Islam.

I am most interested in reciting Scripture in Arabic. I am not familiar with the language.

Would like help in obtaining a parallel Arabic-English Bible - by that I mean English with the Arabic transliterated so that I can read it.

Hi Daniel and welcome to the forum!

The folks at the following link might be able to help you find what you are looking for.
They have Arabic versions (Vandyke Translation) and obviously English speaking people, likely of Arabic descent. Their site includes written as well as audio versions of scripture. They have a lot of other materials for bringing the Gospel to Muslims. They are pre-millennial dispensationalists, but unfortunately so are most evangelicals. I am not attesting to their site since I haven't looked at much of their stuff (and don't know Arabic either!), though I have directed Arabic speaking Muslims to their resources.

You could at least match up verse number for verse number if you wanted to copy and paste and Arabic version of a verse.

I suppose I use the term "scripture" loosely since Arabic language bibles substitute the blasphemous Arabic pagan name "Allah" in place of God's name Yahweh.

Is this a reference to the internet and such, or do you encounter Muslims on a personal level?

The Arabic of the Quran and modern Muslims is not ancient, but a relatively modern dialect, of Muhammad's tribe the Quraish, that supplanted the ancient tongues of the Arabian peninsula through the Islamic first jihad.

Based on your experience, are most of the Muslims you deal with as I understand, simply believe themselves to be born Muslims, from having been born into Muslim families, and not particularly religious but more stuck where they are?

Do you see Islam as being the opposite of the Gospel, and/or are you as desperate for these poor deluded souls are we are? With their having to reject the blood that would save them as a (Simonianism) fundamental of their faith in Muhammad.

Psalm XXIII

The Google translator came up a bit short, but we were able to determine the verse number was OK, and use of the Arabic copy and paste in the prior post is the VanDyke translation, and will probably work fine.
What an amazing time to be alive! On the verge of the return of our precious Lord and Savior!

Daniel, it occurred to me today that you could assemble some verses that you would like to use to reach the Muslims you encounter, and then set a document for 3 columns and copy and paste the Arabic into a tract, that you could print out and fold into handy shirt pocket size like the PDF I posted earlier.

To compose titles and such, you could use the simplest of words and brief phrases, and change them to Arabic with the Google translator, without too much concern of catastrophic error. Then the verses, in the body of the document, you could simply copy and paste from the Van Dyke Bible.





Then you could just whip one out of your shirt pocket when you needed to.

I used Open Office for my most recent ones. Set your document to 3 columns, then set your 2 side margins on .25 to .30, and the margins between the columns to almost double that. 1/2" works OK at the top and bottom. Print one side, rotate, and print side two. You can cram a lot of stuff into one of those, and with Arabic characters being so much shorter, probably a lot more Arabic than English.

They've also got podcast audio Arabic bibles that you could download into MP3 players and put the headphones on them.
