While they have been lost to the spirit of antichrist for 1400 years, they will soon be lost to any semblance of civilized society.

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Who indeed.

"ISIS Takeovers in Iraq: Biggest Islamist Victory Since 9/11

The takeover of about one-third of Iraq by the “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria” (ISIS) terrorist group is about more than establishing a miniature caliphate and base for jihad. It is a challenge to the prestige of Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri by ISIL leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who claims to be a descendant of Islam’s holy prophet and ridicules Al-Qaeda for not enforcing sharia (Islamic) law strictly enough.

ISIS (also known as ISIL, the “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant”) controls significant parts of northern and eastern Syria and northern and western Iraq, having taken Mosul and Tikrit. (It is now threatening Baghdad and Samarra.) This means that ISIS directly controls about one-third of Iraq, a proportion that increases substantially if you include Sunni areas of western Iraq that ISIS has bypassed on its dash towards the capital.

This is arguably the biggest victory for an Al-Qaeda-type group since the attacks of September 11, 2001 and the overall Islamist cause since the Muslim Brotherhood’s takeover of Egypt in 2012."

For those peace desiring Muslims in Iraq (which are "apostate", "renegade", "hypocrite" "infidels" according to their true fundamental brethren that GET Islam), they are up.....

..... without a paddle.
The ultimate arbiters of the religion of Islam will obviously always be the most evil, vile and most willing to murder, sociopathic reprobates, among the true followers of the false prophet Muhammad and Satan. Those who do as Muhammad did and commanded his followers to do.

"Summarized Sahih Al-Bukhari" - Maktba Dar-us-Salam's page 580
Chapter 2. The best among the people is that believer who strives his utmost in Allah's Cause with both his life and property.
footnotes:
[1] "Al-Jihad (the holy fighting) in Allah's Cause (with full force of number and weaponry) is given the utmost importance in Islam and is one of its pillars (on which it stands). By Jihad Islam is established, Allah's Word is made superior, [His Word being La ilaha ill-Allah (which means: none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)] and His Religion (Islam) is propagated. By abandoning Jihad (may Allah protect us from that) Islam is destroyed and the Muslims fall into an inferior position; there honour is lost, their lands are stolen, their rule and authority vanish. Jihad is an obligatory duty in Islam on every Muslim, and he who tries to escape from this duty, or does not in his innermost heart wish to fulfill this duty, dies with one of the qualities of a hypocrite.
[2] Of course, nobody can offer Salat (prayer) and observe Saum (fast) incessantly, and since the Muslim fighter is rewarded as if he was doing such good impossible deeds, no possible deed equals Jihad in reward."

We are at the beginning of the end.

Or the end of the end and on the verge of Christ's return, considering John's "whole world" though an ethnographic hermeneutic. It doesn't include nukes in the mix like some passages indicate, but I'm not going to say that anything necessarily has to happen before the return of my Lord and Savior. I just don't get how Muslims that aren't violent, don't understand that they will loose their freedom and be just as dead or subjugated as every non-Muslim.

Sounds pretty basic to me.  These Muslims you speak of believe only in Muhammad.  Whatever Muhammad says must be real.  They think they don't have to prove a thing.  If they think Muhammad was peaceful by only reading certain verses, then that's all they're going to do.

Hey!  Ever consider reverse psychology?  Since it it obvious to me that you have ABSOLUTELY no clue as to what all those Quranic verses you've been spitting out, why don't you have them explain, say, 9:5 or 9:29?  Since you're not educated in this field and they are (Muslims. that is), maybe they can explain what it really means!

I'd love to see how that turns out!   :P

Quran Surah 9.29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 30 The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

The wishful hypocrite Muslims will say Muhammad's commandments like that only related to specific historical events (even though repeated throughout 1400 years), or were only 7th century related, while the true fundamental followers of Muhammad will say (as we do about the Gospel) that Muhammad's commandments in the Quran are just as relevant today as they were in the 7th century and will be forever. That 1400 years of Islamic history and the first Islamic jihad conquest all the way up into France and Austria confirms it.

The question is, who wins the debate and becomes the ultimate arbiter of Muhammadanism? The wishful self-deluded western peacenick, apostate, hypocrite standing naked and empty handed with nothing but wishful unsupported opinion, or the true fundamental followers of Muhammad that disagree with them, who are armed with the Quran and Hadith in one hand and a beheading knife in the other? Doing as Muhammad did and commanded his followers to do.

Those self-deluded peacenick liars and cheerleaders that don't leave Islam but instead help to advance it, are bringing their own demise upon themselves and their heirs in this world, let alone the next. I say "let alone" because I can't know Jesus' judgments, or the extent to which He gives ignorance a pass, but the Gospel gives us a pretty good idea as to what's in store for antichrists:

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Yes....and thus, ISIS is formed which goes to say...."We are at the beginning of the end."

As to how much time we have left is unknown but as both you and I can attest to, we are right on schedule.  Bible prophecy is happening right before our eyes and most all people don't even see it.

I have a question.  Whilst ISIS is an acronym for "Islamic State in Iraq and al Sham", Isis was also the ancient Egyptian goddess of love, fertility, motherhood and magic.  The Sumerian / Babylonian equivalent of Isis was Inanna / Ishtar, also known as "The Whore of Babylon".  Is this just a coincidence?

I'll leave your question rhetorical.

Meanwhile just more failed adventuring, that has resulted from our once-great now morally rudderless republic, having divorced herself from God through the big lie of the Everson decision in 1947 and McCollum in 1948.
